For you to say that Father Ryan is a bunch of thugs is showing a complete lack of respect for your opponent. You are obviously one of the most ignorant people in the JP2 family and I am sure that most of the people at Jp2 are embarrassed to have you writing posts for them. Things have changed around Father Ryan and this year will be all business. Week in and week out we will be competitive and make a much better showing than last year. As far as the Jp2 game goes it is the first game that we have and we will be ready. I just hope that all the fans and players at JP2 are ready to walk out of the stadium disappointed.

no Dempsey wasn't that same one as last year. He was a freshman last year and came in second in the freshman city tournament behind the other heavyweight Thomas Lawrence who was last years heavyweight. Thomas got hurt during football and Dempsey took the starting varsity spot and is much stronger and improved from last year.

for everyone who likes green to win the heavyweight state title, they have ti mention dempsey from father ryan. In the 7th place match at the father ryan inv. dempsey wrestled toe to toe with green losing 3-1 on a take down that was clearly out of bounds early in the match.

MBA/ Father Ryan definitely have the biggest rivalry. I dont care how bad Ryan has been in the past few years, both teams get up for this one and it is a heated rivalry.

Father Ryan has 3 sophomores that could be the best players on the team. line backer Aaron Bateman is one of the leading tacklers in the state and is keyed every week by the offense. WR/CB Chris Hohl is a sure tackler with great hands, and C/DT/FB Davis Demspey is the leader of an offenseive line that will be better in the next few years. Dempsey also starts on defense and is rotated in at fullback in goal line situations. For all the Big Red fans out there who love Matt Bubis, Davis Dempsey is already as good as he is and will likely be a whole lot better.

J.D. Lawhorn is gonna be going deep all over the big Red secondary, but when it comes down to it MBA's line will be too powerful for the MUS defense to handle. This will be a good game but i see MBA winning by 14 in a shootout.
