Lol, 8/10, i dont know if you watched the same game as i did. Forrest was down going into the last inning and won on two errors from Whitwell. Nothing against Forrest cause they are deff a good team. But if i had to guess it would be 5-5 or 6-4. but they arent deff not 8 out of 10 better than us.

They played University School of Johnson City. Whitwell advances to play the winner of Forrest/Adamsville tomorrow night at 5 o clock.

Whitwell will take on University School of Johnson City at 5:00 Tuesday to kick off the A portion of the TSSAA State Softball Tournament. The Lady Tigers advanced with an 11-1 win over Monterey, while the Lady Bucs squeaked by Oliver Springs 2-1.

TCA beat Adamsville 8-0 and South Fulton beat Huntingdon 2-1.

With its 4-0 win over Grace Academy to clinch the region championship they have earned the right to host Monterey for a bid to the state tournament on Friday night. Monterey lost the Region 4 title game to Friendship Christian 5-0. The game will be played at 8 PM Central. Late start due to Whitwell having its graduation at 6 PM.

Whitwell will host the Friendship/Monterey winner on Friday at 8. Congrats to my cuz, Kaiti Hubbard, on her first career homerun!

The winner of this one gets the Friendship/Monterey loser at home while the loser gets the Friendship/Monterey winner on the road.

Whitwell and Grace Academy advanced to Wednesday's Region 3 title and Friday's sectionals with wins on Monday. Whitwell defeated Silverdale Academy 12-0 in 4 innnings, while Grace blanked South Pittsburg 6-0. These two teams will meet for the 3rd time with a home game in the sectionals on the line. Whitwell has won the previous 2 matchups this season and five straight dating back to last season.

Monday's First RD Matchups: Silverdale Academy @ Whitwell South Pittsburg @ Grace Academy My prediction for this tournament is that Whitwell will defeat SP on Wednesday for the Region 3 championship and the right to host Friday's substate game.

Whitwell defeated South Pittsburg for the District 6-A championship 5-0. Whitwell will host Silverdale on Monday, while South Pittsburg will travel to Grace Academy. Good luck to both squads next week!

In the losers bracket, South Pittsburg defeated CSAS 11-1. In the winners bracket final, Whitwell defeated Sale Creek 10-0 to clinch a spot in next week's Region 3 tournament. Sale Creek will take on South Pittsburg tomorrow at 5 EST to see who advances to the Region 3 tournament and Friday's championship game.

Whitwell just beat Sale Creek 7-5 to clinch the #1 seed for the tourney. Whitwell will play the CSAS/LV winner, while Sale Creek will take on South Pittsburg.

I'm pretty sure that when I was in this district there was a 4-5 play in game and then double elimination.
