He injured his back during practice and was unable to compete.

The wrestling team at Maryville receives almost 0 support. Our matches are not announced to the students, and our AD wears a Maryville BASKETBALL shirt to our home matches, and he only stays as long as he has to. Our wrestling team is more successful than our basketball team, yet we dont get any credit, and our lockeroom is cramped while the basketball team's lockeroom has leather couches and big screen tv's. I can guess the other larger schools in the region hardly receive any support either.

King(130) of Seymour lost to William Blount in the consolation semis. I'm not a 100% sure, but I think McCroskey came down with the flu. He lost his first match to a kid from Powell on Friday, and he didnt come Saturday.

What was the final score in Reveiz and Morgan's match?

I'm not trying to take any glory from Scandlyn, but how did he win OW? I would figure Reveiz would win it.

Maryville beat Wm. Blount 47-21 last night and from what I can see has the best shot at winning regions and going to state. Just my opinon.

I think Frank Morgan from Union County should have gotten outstanding wrestler. He was taking Reveiz down at will. Final score was 13-5 in the finals at 189.

I'm looking forward to this one. WB has a pretty good team. This is definetly WB's best chance to beat Maryville. BUT Maryville's defense and coaches are too good. I'm sayin Maryville wins. Quarles will play Burnette more and I think he'll have a great game. Maryville-28 William Blount-10

thats more like it. Maryville did scrimmage Oak Ridge this preseason and beat them.

I don't see hardly any Alcoa people posting on here now after the game. I wonder why?
