Well im no lax afficionado, but it appears that younger players are filling this forum with trash talk that will do nothing but add fuel to fires of their opponents. As you might not know, I am a fan of MUS, there is no denying that, but any prediction of winning by more than a couple of goals really is quite ridiculous. 8-9 goals? i hope that was sarcasm. But anyways, i'm really looking forward to seeing these two teams face off in the post season. Does McCallie and MUS play each other during the regular season, or do we have to wait until the very end?

I hear they got better than last year, but still their key players seem to be that monster Brackley kid and dillon hall

BA vs ECS final in all likelihood. I'd like to see an upset, but i don't see ECS being able to cover the sheer armageddon that Brandon will more than likely unlease upon to some unsuspecting point guard.

what about the fans!? great attendance from both teams, and the chants by each audience was fantastic. Even being 3 hours from Memphis, MUS still brought tons of fans and seemed to "outshout" Brentwood. Anyone go to the game?

So, being home on a friday night and an avid soccer inquisitor, i decided to check on my neighborhood sports forum, coacht.com. To my dismay and surprise, this message board has been filled with the likes on how BGA, Father Ryan, and JPII are gonna all be good teams this year. I'm glad to hear this, great, super job, but what about the other teams in the state. If i were a west region fan, i'd like to hear something about the likes of the powerhouse CBHS or even MUS. These two teams are always competing at high levels and i know for a fact that both of these teams have very legitimate shots at the title this year. So, if u don't mind me asking, maybe switch the subject from FR and JPII scrimmages, to elsewhere, say, the west?

ummm.... sorry but Houston was the better team and they won, blaming the ref for maybe one goal is ok, but blaming them for Houston scoring three times is another.

MUS is one of the most underrated teams in the West. They have dominated most of their games, but unfortunately, most of the scores do not reflect the play domination on the field. I hope they get the job done come regionals and state

Ya i got a question...How many shots did Ridgeway have in the second half besides that one goal?

MUS soundly defeated BGA 3-0, but from what i heard BGA was missing like 5 players, so take what you will from the score.

MUS dominated the second half of that game...the first half they had a lapse of fifteen minutes and gave up 4 goals. The shot count was around 15-5 in favor of MUS. Bearden was good but they aren't "the real deal". No doubt however they did beat the best teams in West Tennessee i.e CBHS and MUS

B-crest will win b/c of a stellar o line with Mike Oher and they are getting a GREAT freshmen back and he plays safety. They also have multiple RB's who can do damage and they played very badly against ECS the first time.

That is indeed true, Prokell has thrived on both the baseball and football fields. He truly is very athletic. I believe if he plays well, then the game goes to MUS, but if not, BA (just kidding) Brentwood will take home the gold.

I just thought that i would let u guys know... Max Prokell, a junior at MUS, is an incredible receiver with great speed. I think he will be a great factor in the MUS offense. Against MBA, he had over 100 yards receiving. Just something to think about...
