1. I have to say that I am a little surprised by the recent record. No doubt that MBA really shows up for the big match. My perception had been that FR was much better over the last few years.
2. 43 - 18 Baylor Several matches of interest: at 112 Johnson lost to Coleman by 2 at 130 Bell lost to Miller by 2 at hw rookie Simmons pinned at 103 freshman Whitaker pinned at 119 freshman backup Popp pinned
3. When was the last time that MBA beat Father Ryan in a dual meet?
4. P.S. I don't know who Herm is, but he must be one good looking fellow. 825492457 Vol, ask mtnrasslin. See ya soon.
5. "Word on the street is that the some of the McCallie wrestlers are at weights that have been determined by the coaching staff...and not necessarily at the weights that they would prefer. I understand that Cleveland has certified at 135". 825491400 Did this relatively simple observation stir-up all of this? BTW...Walkenvol & I are not one in the same. He is a MUTCH better wrestler than I...but I'm better looking.
6. One shouldn't pass off an assumption as fact.
7. I think the reference was to Cleveland. Word on the street is that the some of the McCallie wrestlers are at weights that have been determined by the coaching staff...and not necessarily at the weights that they would prefer. I understand that Cleveland has certified at 135.

9. "Little Bond Davis showed his true colors to everyone when he fliped the crowd off." I'm curious how his coaches reacted to this

11. Soms, IF Cleveland beats Notre Dame by 25, they have the best team in the state. Notre Dame looks to have their best team in years. I know that its early, but I think that ND has one of the five best teams in the state.
12. Lighten up Angela, It's called sarcasm.
13. QUOTE(irishdad @ Nov 17 2004 - 08:07 AM) Dear wv, It is so good to start the year with with your completely biased opinions and personal attacks. As for insults this entire string was an insult to Ryan, the Dunnings and our program. And Baylor does stall and they do work near the edge. That sir is a fact. Whether it is coached or not I cannot say. As for my son he is a fine young man and a good wrestler. You are a weak pathetic soul if you have to try and hurt me by attacking and threatening my son. Bring it to me walkenpunk not my kid. You say you will post this in the Baylor locker room this pm does this mean you are a wrestler or a coach? If you are a wrestler please be man enought to indentify yourself so I can have the pleasure of watching you. And if you are a wrestler I do not trade insult with atheletes I willl back off. If you are a coach u r a poor sport and a crybaby. P.S. since u use vol in your screen name does that mean you hate the Irish of Notre Dame too. I mean they did beat the Vols this year didnt they??? Shall we schedule an Irishdad vs Walkenvol exhibition match Saturday morning of the McCallie Invitational. I'd shell out ten bucks extra to see it. My money is on Walkenvol. Friendly advice to Irishdad: you don't want any part of the vol.

15. The best match that I have ever seen will bring back some bad memories for others. Jordan Leen's first of four state championships was in 2001 at Father Ryan, as the D II state championships were held there in the early years of the split. In the finals Leen came from a 9-0 defecit to Jack Silberman late in the third period to win. Leen reversed and tilted to go to 9-5. With less than 30 seconds remaining Leen turned Silberman again, this time to a pin. I have never before or since quite experienced noise and energy in a room like on that day.
