TCA defeated South Fulton 1-0 to advance to Murfreesboro next week

Region champions will host the region runner ups on Friday. For instance Region 1 winner will host Region 2 runnerup and so on all the way to Region 8 There will be 8 winners and they all go to Murfreesboro the next week and losers go home.

Last year in single A. Riverside and Cornersville. Game went into extras tied 1-1 Cornersville scored 3 in the top of the 8th to go up 4-1. Then Riverside scored 4 in the bottom of the 8th to win it 5-4.

I still believe Riverside to be the favorite. Granted this year will be tougher but they have the team to 3 peat.

I believe that Riverside is still a really good team even with the tragic loss of Gant. They will be back to the fling this year but it will be a true challenge to win it all this year. I think the top 3 teams in single A are and in no order: FCS Riverside Eagleville

Gant from Riverside pitched Saturday against a good Spring Hill team. Riverside won 11-0 in 6. Gant pitched 6 allowed 2 hits and struck out 8.

I talked with some of their fans and they told me that it wasn't their ace. They ended up throwing 3 guys throughout the game.

None of the pitchers Riverside saw from MTCS were super impressive. They just pitched to contact and Riverside couldn't get base hits. Gant went 6 struck out 8 and allowed 2 hits against Spring Hill

Riverside took part in the Warrior Classic this weekend. Friday they dropped one to MTCS 4-2. Saturday they were dominant as they defeated Spring Hill 11-0 and Lawrence Co. 11-0 as well.

Chatter picking up in this thread that must mean that baseball season is almost here. With that being said I believe Riverside is the favorite to win Single A again

Riverside wins on a last second pass to defeat Forest while Adamsville defeats Cascade. These teams both from District 15A know alot about each other. What do you guys think hour this quarterfinal matchup?

Exactly what I was going to say. Riverside has played a brutal schedule this year and has won the games they have been considered favored in besides Waverly. Riverside will have a big task ahead of them but I don't see this being a blowout. I think it will be rather close. Good luck to both teams and may both teams stay injury free.

This should be another good game. Im trying to decide on where I'll end up Friday night.
