i agree with you for the most part pujo, i however think cosby has unaka outmanned but most definately not out coached, shelton has done a good job, ensor is a better coach by far, in my opinion. i'm just interested to see if ensors better coaching can beat cosbys better players. i'm going to take cosby not because i like them more but i think they have better atheletes than unaka. i wont be suprised at all if unaka proves me wrong though, hopefully they will.

i seen davis play last year and he didnt impress me anymore than townsend does every week.

too much to loose, half of their team would probably kill themselves when little hampton or cloudland came in there and beat "E-Town"

i'd hope they could blow west greene out, i mean they are like an elementary caliber team. it's not that youall are that good its just that are awful.. i really think west greene might have the worst highschool football team in tennessee.

like anybody ever sticks to the topic it's not just pujo everyone makes random comments, and it's true private schools can get good in a hurry, especially with grace christian having an excellent coach in satterfield, i look for them to progress throughout the season and be tough next year ... 20-17 unaka

SHUT OUT, cosby 56-0... west greene is absolutely horrible, cant wait to see the cosby unaka game since that is one of the few quality teams they play this season, the other being hampton of course.

unicoi 17 hampton 38, unicoi will put points on the board this year... i look for it to be rather close until around the third quarter. good luck to both teams and stay healthy

i agree vader, it's pretty sorry that elizabethton expects bigger teams like dobyns bennett and science hill play them year in and year out and they wont play any smaller teams. i'm sure they would get a run for their money most of the time and last years hampton team or any of the cloudland teams w/ mark byrd would have probably killed them... i guess they are just too good to play the little county schools... or do they have too much to loose?

well, first of all i dont even know about lyons running a 4.5, i would almost bet my life that jon lyons dosent run a 4.5, he is a good player though. i really hope unicoi has a decent team this year because last year they were absolutely horrible, jc is a quality 4a team but i dont know about unicoi. i agree with you d.j. is one of the better blocking full backs in 1a around here, i wouldnt just say in north east tennessee in general. i dont even know where to start with roop but i can say he is big, soft but big, i hope he progresses as the season goes along and i think he will. i really believe they will be alot like last years team and just get better as the year goes on but right now they are not one of the top 4 teams in the state. i love hampton but i'm just being honest

good post, i have always admired mike because he gets the best out of his players each and every year.

reguardless of who the player is they shouldnt cry about getting yelled at or whatever else, i think thats just part of it....

the coaches want the kids to win, is that taking it too far? sorry they care about the kids and want them to amount to something, its called tough love, when the coaches "talk to the kids like that" its because they want to get the best out of them. if your son or whoever cant take it they need to quit... i'm sorry but football builds character wheather it is from the coaches jumping down the kids throats or not. i agree that they win and loose as a team but i dont see any kids thet are treated better than others, if you dont push the kids to do better they dont get better. if you will notice the soft coaches who are too nice to their players LOOSE! so do you want the kids to be loosers? you would probably be complaining about the coaching situation then also... ya just cant win, i dont know if you are referring to your son out there or friend, whomever it may be they need to quit being a baby, man up and play... i would guess you are against giving your kids spankings also? you seem like that type

this one hurts, knowing all of those little things like fumbling on the 1 yd line would mean the game.... adam townsend deserves all the credit in the world i dont care if he fumbled 10 times, they do rely on him way too much. i am sure the coaches are working on working everyone else into the offense, but it all starts up front. and i believe that is what it came down to tonight.

i think everyone already knows that sportymom and i expect hamptons line to be pretty dang good so i dont think they have much to worry about as far as the conference goes...
