FARRAGUT BEATS BEARDEN 27 to 17.

Tonight the battle of West Knoxville went down with Farragut going against Bearden at Bearden. Bearden was winning at halftime 17 to 7. But Farragut dominated the whole 2nd half putting up 3 touchdowns with bearden having a goose egg in the 2nd half. Any thoughts about the game from anyone who went, or just any views of the game?

Farragut had a really good gameplan. Excute and just run the clock with the running game on offense and have long drives. And defense, just crack some heads. And Farragut did just that with a win 26-0. But Heritage has some good class act players (#12 and #68).

Farragut is known for their defense but is this year when they are the best in knoxville and their region (region 2-5A). They have the best middle linebacker and two of the best D lineman in knoxville and the dirtiest safety in the business. I mean Zach Helton had trouble with Farragut's D. Zach is probably the best QB in Knoxville by far, but even he said Farragut's D gets after it. Watch out teams. This Defense will turn some heads, like literally...............SNAP, kids getting cracked everywhere. But will their defense have to lead the team or will the offense pick it up? I think they are going to be okay with the running game and a good short solid passing game. With that offense line getting their pancakes and syrup going over D Lines, could have Nick Moore #37 with well over 1000 yards rushing.

Yall Heritage boys are HILARIOUS. I mean dang, yall make me laugh hard. The whole state besides your school and its players losing big. Yall beat Cambell county and seymour.............OH WOW. But on the real note, i am happy for yall to start your season well but you are playing a team who wants it bad. After the Central game, Farragut wanted to play it all over again because even central said if we didnt tunover the ball, we had the game. But Heritage goodluck, Admirals win big. Like Oak Ridge over Clinton big.

Jovon Miller and Geoff Courtney. Jovon can beat anyone down field and no one can run a route better then the coaches son, Geoff Courtney.

this one shouldnt be close...........Farragut 42 to 56 range, Heritage 0 to 7 range. Sorry Heritage, you have won a couple of games against really bad teams. Farragut was beating central for 3 quarters until a bunch of offense mistakes that they shot themselves in the foot with.

it was a great game both teams had mistakes but played well. Farragut should do really well and that goes for central to. Go admirals.

First of all, Farragut won 3 quarters of that game. I don't want to hear anyone say that farragut was getting beat up and down the field the entire game. Farragut should have won last night but with 6 turnovers, they can't even beat william blount like that. I don't think helton has ever been against a defense that had that much pressure on him. And the bobcat fans, yall are some good people but you have to give farragut alot more credit then that. The entire Central team was telling farragut that we played better then them until the 4th quarter. Farragut got their heads down after turning the ball over and over. If farrragut cuts down the turnovers and give #3, Jovon Miller (ANYONE ON FARRAGUTS SCHEDULE BETTER PUT THIS NAME DOWN AND WATCH TAPES OVER AND OVER ON HIM, BIG TIME PLAYMAKER) the ball more deep because Central ever admitted they didn't know what to do w/ him. But Farraguts O line couldnt stop Orlando Blair on pass protection. Farragut was doing good running up the middle becuase Centrals D line and linebackers couldnt get push unless farragut went out wide. But both teams will be good this year, very good actually. And Goodluck on Boths teams Seasons. GO Admirals. And keep praying for Coach Courtney.

after playing against yall in a scrimmage, i guess you have no faith in the admirals. Admirals will roll.........in this one.

I play for Farragut and I have to say the Fulton game wouldn't have been close if it was a real game and 4 quarters. Bearden had no idea what was going on when they were out there for defense. Fulton's D isn't to much without their leader, Tyonne Cobb. He is the back bone, and when he gets back, Fultons D will be back I am sure. But Bearden can't play dirty, they are just not good enough. But 2 Fulton players knocked the heck out of Beardens QB one play and i mean ouch. But the best two teams in knoxville play aug. 26, Farragut Vs. Central at Farragut. Good luck to all teams this year.

Bishop went to Carson-Newman, great football school but D2. If Terrence Scott had the grades, he could have gone to Auburn, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss. State. So yea, I guess the scouts saw more.........so point made. But both great players and will do well in college.

Yea, we can make more I am sure. Just have to order some from the website. But yea the whole team has came alot closer with each other and the coaches. Coach Courtney is like a 2nd father to most of us. But yea thanks man for the prayers, we can use them all.

Hey Trojan50, who would you say looked better, Farragut or Doybns Bennett. You scrimmaged both teams but Doybns Bennett probably a longer scrimmage. But from that, who would you say has a better team from the looks of it.

ya its thurs. I am not sure if it is that late but I am sure that it should be fun to watch. Farragut scrimmaged Anderson County in the spring and beat them pretty good. I don't know anything about White County, So if anyone knows anything about them, can I get some info?

Bearden is not underatted. The closest thing is that they might be overatted. People put them above South Doyle and Heritage. But to me, a fan of high school football and player, they are on the level of Gibbs football...........................sorry BHSFOOTBALL.

You should probably put Farragut in the bunch too with their strong defense.

Okay, I will give you that. Farragut did have a big time melt down against OR in the playoffs. But it was alot of inexperience. None of the players had ever played in the playoffs and wasn't ready for the big improvement in playing and intensity by usual playoff teams, like OR. Oak Ridge was the 2nd best team in state last year, only team to get within 2 TDs of Riverdale. But this year will be different, Farragut has a more confident and more talented team then last year.

Hey we are a program that is on the move to one of the top teams in 5A. Most fans don't like our program just because of the name. If you come watch us play and see one of the best Defenses in 5A, I am sure you will also jump on the band wagon. GO FARRAGUT.
