Any bets Crouch IS suited up and ready to go in sometime during the R'dale game? He will not be sat out for that one. Heck if Smyrna could get the Titans line to suit up they would put them in to actually beat R'dale ONCE! I'll believe it AFTER the R'dale vs Smyrna game and NOT before.

Two class programs that are pretty evenly matched. No one has anything bad to say about either of them and rightly so. I picked Franklin to win due to home field advantage, but as far as I can see it can go either way. Williamson County should be proud of both programs and support them no matter who wins.

And exactly how many times have you heard the very same thing about Riverdale? Hows it feel now that you are up there with them? Not fun having a target on your back and front is it? Only difference is that you have NOT won Region or State yet.

People keep saying this time after time after time after time.......... This 'should' be Riverdale's 75th straight region 4 win I believe.

Expect ALOT of chop blocks down low. When they played R'dale they went for the knees alot. LB's are doing most of the stops. Going wide on them works as they are S-L-O-W!!!!!

Well lets see, joined THIS afternoon and has 10 posts already. I have looked at most of them and agree with NONE of them so far. Great start little lady. BTW exactly 'which' school do you support? Keep on plugging and do not let the big old bad boys scare you for sticking up for what you believe.

They discovered they had a RB that thinks more of the 'team' than his own personal stats so Mimms was replaced. Lebanon should win this one, operative word is should though.

They are still doing the no huddle thing. I 'think', and the operative word is think, that A-rod has the same amount of interceptions as he does TD passes. They are trying to run, but their O-line is NOT opening the gaping holes that was promised before the season started. Their linemen are large but NOT strong and no way they are fast. The game against Smyrna showed that early this season.

Dickson folks are showing ALOT of class this week about last Friday nights game. For that Thank You! As to 'crow' eating, not called for on my part as y'all were just believing in y'alls team which you have a right to be proud of. Good luck on the rest of y'alls season as well. Hopefully we will see each other again this year. Like at the BCB!

If every player for Smyrna would act like Adam Smotherman did last year they would be a much better team. but that is just my opinion. Smo played hard but with class. No trash talking and no cheap shots. As to the ones 'acting out' last week they WILL be back for the R'dale game at least. Smyrna may take a chance this week, but will do ANYTHING to get the King Kong sized monkey off Shad's back that R'dale has become.

He is doing great. Talked to him for a few minutes Friday night. He told me he is going to practice this week and PLAY Friday night. Was just a strain and Terry fixed him up with a great brace for the knee. With the brace he will be only stronger. Rumor has it that Louisville is looking at him HARD!

Maybe Rankin gave Watson, Coach Shad's number too! It is not rocket science to figure them out. That is why I think 'cat' is a little miffed at me. Now he just has to get the numbers right. It was 8 Juniors and Seniors that beat the Smyrna Team in 68. ALL of us were Air Force dependants! We 'borrowed' ONE player from the Smyrna team to do the snapping for us and that is all. 8 on 11 and we still WON! One wound up playing for Coach Raikes and the rest of us said to heck with it. The one that DID play for Raikes wound up going to the Air Force Academy (Ronald Burton and his FATHER got that for him) while the only other scholarship that was given to Smyrna that year was a two year one to Billy Merritt to MTSU. Now for cat......once upon a time...............

R'dale is NOT running the scores up this year like in years past as Coach A is putting in the reserves earlier and longer. Also the second string defense is playing more this year, so opponents are scoreing more. That may be the difference you are seeing about R'dale. This is not the same as the 2004 team that had 8 shutouts and rightly so.

Going to be interesting with y'all having to have a 'coach' sit out due to being thrown out of last weeks game. Is he the DC? If so then 'who' calls the defense for y'all? Another 'if' is whether Corvin is 100% for this game. If so then Smyrna will be keying on him and loading the box. If so then if y'all go wide with sweeps and flair passes then you may get some yards. Use him (Corvin) as a decoy. I would for sure put Zeke in at LB and let him play defense and let him take his aggression out there instead of being frustrated in the O backfield. Maybe let him play a receiver for the flair passes also. Smyrna WILL try and put some big numbers on y'all after losing last Friday. Will be vital y'all fill the stands THIS week like y'all did for Oakland and they need to stay the whole 48 minutes and be LOUD. Especially when Smyrna is on offense. Not the air horns, but actually yelling. Get y'alls receives some gloves this week! If passes keep going thru their hands it don't help y'all much. Linemen WEAR your cups this week! Smyrna has a habit of hitting low and OFTEN! Thats about as much as I can give y'all without actually sitting in the press box and calling stuff as I see it. Fair enough?

Gas mask did NOT help! I tried it and it didn't work. Players still had to practice in the smell though as there was NO getting away from it even a mile away. Picking on Cat? Nope, just telling it like it is. Getting him warmed up for week 8.

Nope! An Alabama school that LC plays regularly. Good Luck Falcons! At least this year you only have to play against the 11 on the field.

LOL! I remember that happening. It stunk worse than a I want to think about for over a month. The 'river' was lucky it could be called that then. It was more like a dry creek. Some BIG money folks were even putting their homes up for sale along it, but after one sniff NO ONE was gonna buy them.

Nahhhhh, y'all got 'cat' all wrong. What he is really annoyed at is not Blackman's record against Smyrna. Its a record that is even WORSE. Smyrna vs R'dale! 0 for how many Cat?

OK, granted teams like Maryville and Melrose can hang with 5A schools, but the majority cannot. Heck there are a BUNCH of 5A schools that cannot hang with the top 5A schools regularly. That is one reason we see the same schools over and over at the top of polls. Some interesting 4A vs 5A games I would pay to see. Maryville vs DB Melrose vs Germantown Melrose vs Ridgeway Heck even Maryville vs Riverdale!

It was not the players doing it that particular game. It was the fans spitting dip on the R'dale players when they went in for half time. It backfired though as it only made R'dale REALLY mad and they took it out on the Smyrna team the second half and ran the score even higher. It also came back to bite Smyrna in the playoff game at R'dale when the 'Dale' beat them even worse. It was so bad that the coaches even had to go on the field between the teams to keep a fight from breaking out after the game. There are players who STILL remember that game on the current team. I figure with everyone having a bye week 7 that a bunch of threads are gonna get locked before week 8's game between R'dale and Smyrna.

I have NEVER seen players spit on by fans at ANY other place besides Smyrna. I was ashamed of the fans and to have graduated from there when that happened. Yes it is right to be mad when you lose, but you have to take it with class just like when you win.

Just have one question with two parts. Is 'Croach' gonna do his thing again, and if so is he gonna wave at HIS mommy?

Got a question first because I honestly do not know and it could affect the way I see this game going. If a 'coach' is thrown out of the previous game does he have to miss the next game like a player thrown out of a game?
