Game day! Go Pirates. This one should get ugly very quickly.

This use to be on of the greatest matchups across the state of Tennessee regardless of classifications. Hopefully it will get back to what it once was. Best of luck to both teams. Gordonsville by 14

This game was intense when the Cougars use to have those tombstones on the hill leading down to the field. That was always intimidating. Now, not so much. Pirates put this one away early.

I will say this though, Pirates need to play under control and clean up the penalties. Let your talents do the talking.

PM is showing small signs of improvement but has a VERY long way to go. Some major surgeries on the horizon if his fight doesn't end. Thank you all so much for the continued prayers.

Most of you know my brother has been battling Cystic Fibrosis since he was six years old. He has continually defeated the odds and is now 46 years old, far outliving what all his doctors originally said. The last few years have been very rough on him but he found ways to push through it. This year so far he has spent more time in the hospital than at home. He is currently in ICU at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. His liver, lungs and kidneys are in bad shape. We need a miracle from God above so please offer up your prayers on his behalf, and that of his family. This is very hard on all of us. 

With football season starting tomorrow night, the reality of possibly losing him has hit me square in the gut. He and I have been on CoachT a very long time and spent many Friday nights together with our Dad watching and supporting our Pirates no matter where they played throughout they years. God willing I plan to sit beside him tomorrow night with my phone tuned into the Pirates game so he can listen to it. He's not able to talk much at all but that's okay. He and I truly appreciate all the friendships we have made on Friday nights traveling the great state of Tennessee. Your continued prayers are welcomed and truly felt. 

Let's hear it for PirateMike...

Taking a moment to say the Pirates will win this game big. 

PirateMike is fighting for his life, we need a miracle.

Football aside for a moment our family could sure use your prayers for my brother, PirateMike.

Yes, I will be at as many as possible.

This Pirate team has all the ingredients to make a deep run this year. That doesn’t always translate to success though. I’m anxious to see how it plays out.
