  1. If you really want to find out how you got turned in to the TSSAA you can discuss with the ones who did it on the bus ride to Chester Co. WAKE UP SMELL THE TREASON!!
  2. Well said KS. Cheatham officials have never been accused of foresight. The district and region tourneys alone would create enough concession money to run our programs for years. It's the " that'l do " syndrome. Remember this stuff the next time one of those " good ole boys " wants your vote.
  3. Have you seen them play? Does the big girl dominate the offense?
  4. I hope someone has seen both teams or at least both districts enough to give us an educated guess. Does Bolivar travel well? Do they run up and down the floor or slow down the game? I did notice that the tallest girl on the roster is listed at 5'9".
  5. I've got a little crow left over from last week if any of you Cheatham people want some. You could eat it on the way to Chester Co. Good luck down there. Maybe we can have round five next Saturday.
  6. I don't think we are after world peace, just officials whose skin is thicker than their glasses
  7. Sub-state games are supposed to be a home game to the region winners as a reward for winning the region. We don't have any interest in making it easier on anyone but us. I know how that sounds, but its true at every region winners school.
  8. Great game to watch. That is how Harpeth played every night the first half of the season and they got it back just in time. Make no mistake, Loretto is a great basketball team. Nikki Ellis and Holly Finch showed us how a senior should play in a big game. Nikki hit threes when they backed off and drove inside to score or dish the ball to someone else when she was pressured. Holly took controll of the paint on both ends of the floor. As a result all five starters finished in double figures. This is the team that Cheatham lost to by 18. We're Baaaaaaack!
  9. You are correct when you say that Harpeth played below what they are capable of last night. However, it's hard to get geared up for a weak team with a big game looming the next night. Still, I checked and found that to be MCHS's second worst defeat this year. Not bad for an off night. Loretto is going to see a slightly differant version of Harpeth basketball tonight. Good game- Harpeth by 5.
  10. As for Harpeth needing something to change, I said that. I'm not bitter at all, just worried. I hope Lawson is OK. She is a class act. How did the MRI come out?
  11. 9AA has better post play but weaker guards. Cheatham and Harpeth should win any game that is close giong into the last 5 min. That is pretty much what happened in the Cheatham/Page game. If lawson is healthy Cheatham wins over Loretto, if not, could be close. If Harpeth gets back to early form ( Ellis has to get back to making people open by driving and shooting then hitting the open player when she is stopped instead of looking to pass first ) then Cheatham will face a better and bitter Harpeth. Personally, I'd like to see Cheatham & Harpeth tied 2-2 when they meet in the state finals. Ellis is the best player in that region. As she goes, so goes harpeth.
  12. Not an ounce of truth in it. Probably wishful thinking.
