steven gant from riverside, he shut fcs down in the state tournament and then pitched 8 innings in the state championship against summertown, he's definitely going to be one to watch.

yea but this will be the third time that jcs has seen the hays kid pitch, it's going to be hard for riverside to pull it off but my vote is for them

Riverside forfeited because they had no pitching left, they had to pitch 4 sophomores with no varsity pitching experience at all against bolivar, not making any excuses as to why they lost to bolivar or anything but that is why they forfeited

Sean McCormick is a good sold junior linebacker, to label him one of the best in the state is a little much, but he works hard and has the potential to be one of the best in the state. To go back to the post above it's not Sean's fault that Riverside is 2-6, it's not his fault that the offense is not putting points on the board, it's his job to play defense and that he has done well this season, him along with the rest of the riverside defense has held most teams to well below of their scoring average for the season, they have a very tough schedule and play fairly decent competetion and if the offense would have put points on the board in some of those games they would be alot better than 2-6.

at the beginning of the season i never thought milan would make it as far as they did, not to down them or anything but i didn't think they would make it out of region b/c they didn't have any dominant pitching

USJ is pretty solid with phenom freshman josh lyles behind the plate, trinity is also coming around and have alot of experienced players and should be pretty tough to handle this year.

most of the players i talked to from last year said that he was a good coach, i haven't heard not 1 player from perry county talk bad about him, so from what i hear he is doing a fine job and the players like him too....

I would have to say that alan north is a good candidate too, he is quick, is a great ball handler, and will pull up a 3 when u least expect it when u r right in his face, he's a great shooter and a very talented player

riverside's win over camden really got them fired up, but then theirloss to milan, and then mcnairy got them down, they have came a long way over the season and mckenzie barely pulled away with a win last time, i think riverside should dominate
