I couldn't agree more. The slam dunk contest has become a joke. Once again Tenn high has gotten a hard team in the first round.I saw Jackson North side at the state last year and those delk twins are for real.Watching them for a quarter is worth the whole price of admission.The Bahamas squad has been down for a couple years but it looks like they're back. They won their annual thanksgiving tournament.

Jackson Northside is loaded and they may just be the favorite. Another team to watch is Simon Gratz Philadelphia,Rasheed Wallace'a alama mater, they were ranked 14th in the nation in last years final USA Today poll.

Are you saying Bradley Central has the program that White Station does? Dont think so. How many state championships has bradley won lately ? The answer is none. Im just saying to be a visiting team at the arbys u have got to be really good. Dont try to tell me Bradley is as good as last years team.

You people need to learn you can't go by comparitive scores. Iowa beat Ohio st 33-7.Michigan beat Iowa 30-17. And then Ohio st goes and whoops michigan 37-21. Teams just match up with each other differently.Dont give me all this "but Maryville beat Mowest 38-0" crap.

Thsviking , i dont know how u are from tenn high and not know about mo til this year. He has been starting since he was a sophmore and even played some as a freshman. Mo , Zack Morton, Johnny Graybeal, and BA (at corner) have all started they were sophomores.

Both teams are very experienced, especially at the quarterback postion. Thompson obviously has more playoff experience.

You said that Marcus Niddiffer and Brandon Anderson were the only players for Ths that played last year. Actually 20 of this years 22 starters started at least 2 games last year.

Major Canty is the fullback.He is most likely going to Yale to play. Mo Whitten starts both ways at defensive end and wingback.

Bradley Central didnt get invited back simply beacause they lost 4 of 5 starters and will not be nearly as good.

First of all science hill has 3 state titles in the last 15 years and has been to state multple times and got terrible draws in the late 90s.They were even ranked third in the nation at one point on a year they didnt win state.They are definetly 1 of the top prgrams in the state(Far far better than Unaka).And did you see the teams Unaka played at state last year. Grace Babtist Academy(the team they beat in the C-ship)was terrible. They were full of short white guys that could shoot decent.I would hate to see last years unaka team face some of the ezell harding teams of the past few years, it would be a total blowout.Unaka got so lucky with teams they played.And where in the world do you get that there is bad coaching in the arbys. Coaches like Terry Tippett(white station) Kent Smith (bradley central) Jack Curran (archbisop Malloy) and Bobby Snyder are all legends.And that was just from last years field.The Arbys is getting bigger and better every year.The crowds are are getting EVEN bigger,they are getting more high profile players and teams,and the overall feeling at the arbys is electric.Lets quit talking about Unaka, they are not in it,you stony creekers need to worry about what tournaments you ARE in. The Sporting News named the Arbys one of the top tournaments in the nation lets start talking about that.

I do know that jackson north side with the delk twins who both committed to miss st are in it.Twin spings is in it. The best team from philly is in it. A good team from georgia and alabama are in it .As well as the local regulars.Im sure there are some really good teams i dont know about

That was a rumor that got started beacause another 7-3 player died in a car wreck.It is totally untrue.

All that is ridiculous. Tenn high is very good year after year. Second, the local teams like east betsy honaker are in it beacause they bring lots of fans. Third, why would coach burns care about the other local teams when you play a visiting team in the first round.Im sure Tenn high would beat thos local team anyway.

The game will be a little closer than last time, but if THS does what it can do should be another trip to the quarters. THS may have the 5 the top 7 or 8 backs in the conference with BA(225 yds vs mowest) major (D-1 recruit) Mo(high D-1 recruit) and carletan bell and ryan shaw.too many backs for south to stop

People around here dont realize how good mayville is.We would have to play out of our minds and have them play alittle bit of a down game. Hopefully thats what happens,but we would have chance.
