To any and all MC fans. Don't respond to this thread, it is going nowhere and will do nothing for the present admin. Leave this for those who are wannabe's. WJ isn't the first coach to play inellgible players and he won't be the last. Gallatin supposedly did a few years ago and I don't remeber their coach getting tried by a jury of coacht members. He and his former school have paid the price for what they did and now life goes on. I will guarantee anyone who reads this that he won't play anyone at MC that isn't elgible. The lady that runs MCHS is a tough cookie and she knows everything that goes on in that school and he will never get that by her.

The administration at Marshall County High School is one of the best in the State of Tennessee. The principal, Nancy Allen Pruitt rules with pretty much an iron fist. But at the same time she is there for any parent, student or teacher at any time. She has a great open door policy and she welcomes any comments or suggestions and will listen to any and all. She has a very good assistant principal who is very active in the school and the athletic programs, he is assisting with the boys basketball program. She supports all coaches, players and their programs.

ELA -- You are wrong as far as championships go, other than region and the old DRVC Conference. He has never won a State Championship. A comment on this please, from a COACH. Should a coach alienate his players and belittle them ?? I say no and I think you will also. I doubt you do this. There are more ways than this to speak to young people and adults as well to get your point across. What has this type of attitude done for High School football this year alone in the Midstate??? NOTHING but create problems and now we see young men giving up a sport they love and have played for many years because of the COACH.

McCurry has been at Marshall County 18 years. He has won and compiled a 171-51 record. The last sentence is incorrct. Mac McCurry has been at Marshall County for six years and has a 48-23 record. His overall coaching record is 171-51

36 Current players of Marshall County High School football team have signed a petition stating they will not play Football at Marshall County High School in 2005 or 2006 if Mac McCurry is retained as head football coach. The players have had enough of the belittling and the condescending remarks. They have also seen the tension between our "2" Head coaches and they are caught in the middle. All current and those who left this year will play if Tommy Tharp is named the head coach, but at this time they will not play for The Magnificent Mac. Look for a head to roll from Lewisburg

For you and your team's and schools sake I hope you aren't getting Mac McCurry. But by the same token myself and forty players and their parent hope that you are.
