Let's see....Different Year....Same Ol' story. Expect Gleason to handle the Lady Lions once again. I saw the South Fulton game Tuesday and Dresden tried to give that one away. Gleason did lose to South Fulton, but it was a fluke. Gleason will get up big, and Dresden will go in the tank as usual.

They will choke just like they did against Gleason. Peabody is too physical for them, and will quickly establish the game tempo. Once they do this, stick the proverbial fork in 'em, because they're done.

They may squeak by McKenzie, but look out Thursday. That's when everybody finds out how good the "Mythical" Lady Lions are.

Train, apparently you don't know what you're talking about. Dresden underachieved big time. They supposedly had all kinds of talent, just like this year, and didn't do crap. Over the last few years, Dresden could be considered one of the most overrated teams in recent history. You're right, Coach Stephenson is a pretty good coach, but it's hard to coach high school girls when they peeked in middle school. I guess two substate appearances is pretty good, but at Gleason, just making it there is not good enough. That's why they'll always be one step ahead of Dresden.

Well, I missed on the score, but I was right on the outcome. If Gleason had not let up, it would have been a lot worse. They clearly had the better team and the better player in Hudson. She was unreal. Somebody posted the other day that Dresden would either choke and lose the game, or they wouldn't choke and still lose. Well, that person was right. When the game was on the line, they blew it.

I agree, spyman. The days of middle school are long gone. If this team is going to do something, they better do it now. Kayla Hudson is fixing to abuse that team because she is a one-woman wrecking crew. Shoot, she put a hurtin' on them when she was in the 8th grade, so imagine what the next few years are gonna be like.

The annual rivalry begins tomorrow night in what looks to be a David vs. Goliath matchup. Dresden began the season with state title dreams, and apparently that's probably all they're gonna be, dreams. They are a nice team, but Gleason will be very tough to beat, especially at home. Kayla Hudson is the absolute truth and will probably dominate most of the game. The Lady Lions will have their hands full with her. I'm taking Gleason by 20 if not more.

Rumor has it that he's not going to Lake County because there's no hospitality room.

who cares they will choke when they play gleason just like every year. the lady lions might be better if they would get rid of the assistant who carries around a clip board and walks around like he is doing something. can he not find his own coaching job somewhere he has been at dresden forever.

I know basketball season is right around the corner, and there are some questions that must be answered this season. The biggest one that comes to mind is the ability of the Dresden Lady Lions new coaching staff. I'm not real sure that this new coach has what it takes to be a winner. I already hear that this team has no discpline. That's not a good sign if you plan on contending for a state title. I also hear that the former boys basketball coach is an assistant. From what I understand, he should be the head coach because he's about the only one with a lick of sense. I hear their other assistant coach doesn't have a clue as to what's going on. He just sits their like a knot on a log. This is all just my opinion, but who knows. This could be a long season.
