What bout those Raiderettes they came together to pull a win out against 3A Warren Co. it was a great game that came down to the final 6 seconds...they were tied 48-48 and Moore Co. had the ball and hit a game winning shot with 1 second left to go...they won 50-48! The Raiderettes start the season off with a win and that's big for this young squad. Way to go Raiderettes and good luck in future games.

Unaka got beat by Moore Co this weekend in Shelbyville...not my pick for even the top 10.

A- Unaka (2004 State Tournament) returns everything and anything less than a return trip to the state would be a disappointment. University High has a new coach and a good transfer and could be a darkhorse. Unaka got beat by Moore County in Shelbyville just this weekend...not likely.
