just a few athletes short? A few athletes at key positions is everything in football, so just a "few" athletes short is a big deal. The difference in winning and losing, according to you. Dont you just hate it when a team gets put out and the fans just cant deal with it and come in your forum not letting go of the past. Smith County is the past, just get over it SC fans. Greenbrier, you seem to have a good team. Dont think just cause you have the Mr football that means anything though. Am I mistaken or didnt TT win it for Trousdale the year we put an end to him? And we've already ended one team that had 2 up for the award this year (McAllister and Harris), and I could be wrong but I bet Harris had just as good or better numbers then who ever you have. The only difference is your team is still in it and they are not, thats it. We dont care who you have. If anything having Mr.football probably just gives us more of a drive to shut him down. He have had one rusher over 100 yards on us this year, early in the season and we plan on keeping it that way. Harris didnt get 100 and your Mr.football wont either, better find another way to win.

Ok, now that I know something about Greenbrier personally I can start the commenting. I got sources that saw film so....... I will give Greenbrier credit, from what I heard they have a very good team, with size and team. It wont be the first time we have seen teams like this before though. I am looking for a hard fought game, one of those games that even if they win, they will feel the effects afterwards. I just think my falcons are going to prevail. I've watched them each week and the team I see now compared to early in the year its like two different teams. This team looks like last years now and no body got us last year, so what does that tell you about the outcome? Ish, I'm gonna give you credit. The way you are playing, just keep it boy, you look real good out there. I think what helps you best is now you have reallized you can run when there is nothing there. who ever put the post about Greenbrier wins 28-27, Greenbrier will never score 28 on our defense. I'm not talking trash when I say this but, Greenbrier is just going to be over matched. I dont want to hear anything about fans, the fans you guys had that couldnt even afford to pay for tickets, sat on the bank behind us throwing rocks. Talk about bush league. I can speak from experience. I did not play in them two years ago, I started last year, played in every game last year and held my own. We dont rebuild, we reload. If anything, it betters the situation that not many played in those games. It makes them hungry, makes them want it more. And believe me, there is nothing worse then a hungry falcon. You'll find out soon enough tonight. Just for the record, the key players all played in big games in the past two years. Elliot with AE played in key games. Tyronne, 2 yrs ago, Fine the last two years both, Tip Toe, Patton, Ryan Engle got his minutes, Smokey last year, so we do have experience where it matters, now for the rest they make up for that with hunger. Get 'em Falcons I hope Jam and Patton do that at mid field before the game like against AE. The little soaring run like a falcon, I dont know about everyone else, but I loved it.

Well.....it's getting closer to the time when all trash talking is put aside and the TEAMS decide who goes to Boro'. Now, I'm sure Smith County has a good football team, they wouldn't be 12-1 if they didn't, but I just like my Falcons chances in this one. The fact is, Smith hasn't been in this position since 85' and don't have the experience in the big games like this that the Falcons have. It's one thing to talk smack all week, but that's not going to do you a bit of good once the ball is kicked off. There's going to be a lot on the line out there tonight. Can Smith handle the pressure? This is the 3rd straight year Fulton has played in a game like this so feel confident they can. Experience is key this late in the playoffs. Should be a great football game and if my Fulton boys take care of the football and play their game, they should be in Murfreesboro next week to go for the repeat. Go Falcons!

Its understandable that you would be against us Roadrunner, I mean we were the ones to put you guys out of the running for the State two years in a row on your own field. I would be against someone that had our number too if it was me so, nothing but love for ya. I can understand how you are frustrated too cause lets face it, the future is not too bright for ya either, but its all good. Now for the ones that are actually still in it, the only warming up your team will be doing is the warming up during pre game. one thing I want to know, you guys keep saying "come on down to the hole, wait til you come down in the hole" Hole this, hole that.....from what I hear its on top of a hill.

We (Fulton) have lost two games this year including one to Lenoir City at home. That loss was embarassing to say the least and gave us a good portion of "humble pie". Believe me, the Falcons know what's at stake and know how to get it done. This group has guys who have been there and done that and this game is nothing they haven't seen before. The players don't "run" their mouth, they just do what they do best, play football. Last week at Austin-East, we faced a tough atmosphere and a terrible officiating crew and won a game nobody expected the Falcons to win. We've already done more than anyone expected us to do this year, after all, this was suppose to be a rebuilding year, as was last year. We feel fortunate to have gotten this far, but not content with just beating the #1 team in AAA. The Falcons want to repeat and I don't think anyone will get in their way of doing that. Go Falcons!

I hope you guys know you just started something now. The little comment about you guys play as a team and we just have individuals. I dont know about the players but I know from experience last year that would burn me up. You guys are just asking for it now. All this trash talking, we dont have to result in that. I havent seen many score predictions...what is everyone's prediction? I say that if Smith County plays good, we will win by 2 touchdowns. I think that is about as close as Smith County can keep it. With Smith County dont play just the best game they can play, it could get ugly, quick. I say Fulton by 3 touchdowns

I love it when the other team feels so confident. They think "we have seen fast teams before", there is a difference between speed and quickness. You are going to find this hard to believe, but you really havent seen a team as quick and fast as us, PERIOD. There is one guy that does not have blazing speed but will flat run you over. That is Tyronne Cobb, and you guys do not have one person that wants to go head up with him. Trust me, you are smart to get out of his way. Just ask any east knoxville team. The way our players run on the field, they just make the other team look like they are running in slow motion. If you guys are slow, you dont stand a prayer in this game. Consider it a victory if you just stay in the ball game

Fulton's team has as much discipline as any other team. Last year, for the Macon County game, we had our starting defensive end, and third on the team in tackles, told he could not play, because he broke a team rule at school. That is just one example of the discipline this team has. Speed is the major role on this team. But what people seem to not realize, this team is a physical, hard hitting, smashmouth football team. Speed dont have everything to do with this game and the win we will get. We are going to flat run you guys over, period. Good luck next week boys, you guys will need it. Fulton is coming

you are right, you are not Smith County. Its a different team yet same result. You can say all you want, that we have speed but you have big ol' country boys or what ever. People seem to look past our physical play because of the speed but you havent seen a team like us. Yeah we are the fastest team you will face, but we will hit you too. Your team will leave the field knowing who they just played. They will never forget the falcons because we dont just hit ya, we run over ya. So dont think we are just fast and "soft". AE thought we were "soft" and look where it got them. #40(Hamilton) and #22(Cobb) are some of the hardest hitters and your players will get real acquanted with them, well when they are on the ground looking at them. Keeping the X-ing up Hamilton, you know they cant stop ya

Macon County was a team that was suppose to be so much stronger than us last year. It came a huge rain, most games were cancelled, everybody was saying "Cancel the game", this will work to Macon County's advantage, there goes the speed. Our coaches decided to play and told us "they think you all are nothing but speed, show them what you are make of" We went out there and played that smash mouth football you guys claim to be better at and just wore them out. Rain or shine, it will happen to you guys too. Congradulations on getting this far, but your road stops here

I'll give you credit, Trousdale did hang, but Fulton didnt play their best ball and Trousdale had an outstanding running back, with alot of spped. You two just dont have that. Smash mouth football does not beat us. I just dont see it happening, but good luck with this week and hopefully we will still be alive to see you all next week

I would have to disagree. You two are very talented, make no bones about it. But its just a known fact that you guys up there just can not hang with the speed of AE and Fulton. I hope Fulton wins but who ever wins between Fulton and AE will move on to the Championship, I know you guys dont want to admit it, but you just cant hang with the speed.

DaFultonBoy3....I think I know who ya are. If you are who I think you are, go get 'em tonight. I know we have had our own lil heat before between us, if you knew who was talking then you would know what I am talking about. But putting that all aside. I wanna see ya end McAllister's and Harris's high school career just like their junior year, wishing they had a ring. I love Pigeon's post about they better ask for one for Christmas or something, that was great.
