I was going to say I would take CSAS by 70 tonight but it ended up being 73.

Winning by a big margin....when a team plays everyone who is dressed out for the game, of which the majority were freshmen and sophomores, playing half court defense the entire game, never trapping, never pressing....how is this not showing class? Let's look at your school, Temple. When we played them year before last, they were beating us by 30+ and at the end of the game the starters were still in and some kids never even got in the game. Or how about the State Championship game. Up by 25-30, starters in until the last MINUTE and some kids never got in the game. Do I need to continue because I can?!

The Gordon girl from Grace was a totally different circumstance than that of Stallion from what I have been told.

From what I understand and I am no expert, Alex Stallion had been on the waiting list at CSAS for a couple of years without being admitted. When he was offered admission after being on the waiting list for that long, his parents accepted. I am pretty sure that a hardhship has to be filed in this kind of situation.

You are right that CSAS is young and should be really tough next year. Temple will not be very good unless they have an UNBELIEVABLE RECRUITING CLASS and the doors of their school are still open. Grace will not be better without their big man, point guard, and other couple of seniors.

It would be great to see them both in the state again, but a lot of games are still out there to be played. The biggest difference that I saw in the game last night is how much the Patriots have developed since the start of the season. For those who don't know, in this game last year only one player who is playing now saw any significant action against Temple. This team is very young but starting to get experienced individually and in playing together. This is not supposed to be CSAS's year, but it is a possibility!

CSAS is getting better every day....they are just soooo young still. South Pitt will definitely have an advantage of playing at home in the district tourney, but the Patriots have already beat them by almost thirty at "the Pit". Grace is , I agree, too unpredictable.

CSAS plays at Grace a week from Tuesday and a rescheduled game on February 19th. Since you have seen both now dadoffour, who do you think will be in the Region Finals with Temple?

Don't know the schedule but it is not a tournament I don't think. I believe it is a classic with a predetermined schedule and no champion named. That way TSSAA doesn't get 18% of the gate.

Thursday games are at two sites, CSAS and CCS due to the fact that schools are still in session during the day Thursday.

The game scheduled tonight (Thursday, December 11) between CSAS and Sale Creek at Sale Creek has been cancelled. The reason is that Sale Creek has a leak in their gym.

I do not know anything about the Temple coach as a person either good or bad so I cannot make a judgement about his integrity or anything else. What I can say is that this is unfortunate because it shows perhaps his inexperience as a liability at a school that should really have NO MARGIN FOR ERROR after the things that have gone on the past couple of years. Not knowing the rule is not a good answer and if it was ignored for the benefit of the program that is even worse. Either way someone needs to be knowledgeable and in charge at Temple and it appears that is still NOT the case.

Temple got into trouble before for not following the rules. Either Temple is choosing not to follow the rules again or they are ignorant of them again. Indian should get his principal to check on this since he is on the TSSAA Board. The rule as Legend put it is simple and straightforward......$250 and the next two games, not pick the ones you want.

So is this ANOTHER EXAMPLE of Temple not KNOWING the RULES that EVERYONE ELSE follows in the TSSAA or is it ANOTHER EXAMPLE of Temple not caring what the rules are. The rule following an ejection is pretty standard.

Unfortunately I do not believe that our team will be ready to do a whole lot on Friday.....kind of like Temple last year when we played the first game at Temple. Hopefully the Patriots can compete, but if not we will hopefully be ready by tournament time to make some noise. By the way, I heard that Temple's coach was not at the game last night. If this is true, why?

I think at this point in the year, Grace is stronger than Temple and I don't think Silverdale is even in the discussion.

Temple's night I agree but only because it wasn't Soddy's. Who did you think looked good for Temple? Do you think that this team is better than last year's team? In what ways are they better? Certainly the bench is not better.

From what I heard about the game the only thing that was exciting was when it was over. I heard from a guy who went to the game that Soddy looked pretty bad both on offense and on defense. Even when Temple got in foul trouble in the first half, Soddy had nothing! Defense was absent from both teams but especially Soddy.

CSAS graduated ALL their good players from last year. They will win their district because it is terrible. Dragoo is an awful coach. Last year's Patriots had the talent to make some noise in the state tourney but couldn't even get there because of coaching. I hate seeing a bad team and a pathetic coach be rewarded for playing NOBODY. GRACE AND TEMPLE WILL HUMILIATE CSAS THIS YEAR!!!! Nothing like a fine christian brother from a fine christian school speak in a manner that represents his school and what they stand for so well! Hope you have a good church service this morning.
