Norsman I hope you are right....I've seen alot of Viking teams in my day i mean alot...and last years was by far the most undisciplined team we have ever had that i can remember.

I trief to tell people this was going to happen...to much buddy system over there.

Its time to clean house at THS. This program has been spiraling downward at an alarming rate.They do have some talent but dont have a clue how to use it. I saw all i needed see first game under Mays..watched his team blow a 21 point first half lead lead. in 5min.against south...didn't have a clue what to do.I did give him benefit of the doubt..and gave him time...time is up...lost control of the team last year and agian this year ..no team discipline...no fire and no execution ..no excuse.Im sure he is under fire..if not he should be.

About as I figured ...long year for the Vikings looks like.

DB can pick the score....not gonna be a good year for the Viks I'm afraid.

Yes ..I remember the" 95" matchup very well..very defencive battle! I think it was like 16-12 with about 5 min. or so left. When my son broke one for about 75- 80 yards I think it was(my memory ain't what it used to be) to put it on ice. But very intense game all the way to the end. I Remember Hall's being a very class act though.I hope this one is just as good. The one thing really stuck in my mind from that night that was after the game when we were down on the field there RB came up to us and told my son through the tears of disappointment and heartbreak as your last game as a senior brings was "heck of a run 25!!...NOW GO DOWN THERE AND BEAT THOSE GUYS!!!(Cleveland in there heyday)But of coarse we lost. But i've always remembered that kid.. he was the coaches son that was there at that time i think .

IF we have the coach that some think we have and IF he can end this qb debacle and put 16 in and let him do his thing and IF he can rally the troops and IF they can get prepared properly and IF we will open up the offence ...MoWest could have there hands full. OK first off no one said he was a "BAD" coach i think the term was inexperienced as an experienced head coach would delt with this daddy Moneybags and QB situation 6 games ago and not let it drag out and effect the whole team and would have had the team prepared for crockett as well. So i guess for the time being these kids have to suffer through his inexperience as a head coach and hope he learns fast. But not gonna hold my breath

Preach on brother!! ...Preach it !! I wish i could find some of my old posts from a couple years ago..but I did a search and nothing at all turned up...oh well !! Ahhh! just saved you guys the old" I TOLD YOU SO" As some of you will remember that have been here awhile(04,CAP) I was totally against this hire from day one...nothing personal towards him for he is a fine man as most of you know...just not qualified to be a head coach at this level and i do believe this is his 1st head coaching job anywhere period that i am aware of. And someone correct me if i am wrong. 1a-2a or maybe 3a is where you start not at 5a-6a tradition rich program that has a winning history. That's just to much ask for any inexperienced head coaching candidate. So not really his fault for I,m sure he's doing the best he knows how. But these kids have to suffer through his on the job training which is brutal to say the least. So no i don't blame him i blame the one's that put him in this position in the first place..they knew better but stayed with the buddy-buddy system. I guess as long as your well liked by everyone wins don't matter at least that's the way it seems at present. i will say i played for 4 different head coaches in my life. All of them were not liked all of the time, but there is not one that i did not respect ALL of the time. I know..I know he took us to round two of the play-offs last year...first He didn't take us anywhere..the three headed monster in the back field took us to round two. so put that to rest right now.And yes he is an outstanding defencive coach. But not head coach. He may be in the future but not right now. But if he's gonna try to do this he needs to grow a pair and tell Bobby Sunshine's daddy to stay the ---- out of team business and do what he thinks is right whether it is or not and own it. Not what daddy moneybags thinks. There are 50-60 kids that your decision affects not just one. Just give your team there best opportunity to win at all times Flame suit on....slams the mic down!!!

I know and I agree ...I saw this coming 3 years ago. Kids are not stupid..they know more than we give them credit for they know who should be playing and they know when coaching decisions get them beat.

LOL...34-12 Crockett leads at half. No game plan on either side of the ball its absolutely embarrassing .." D" don't have clue what to do 410 yards for crockett in first half as they are doing whatever they want . I will see what happens in the sec. half but i do believe this team has quit on Mays...i smell dissention in the ranks.

Would be awesome to have them on the field all the time, but it 's not gonna happen. i remember a coach a few short years ago who had ALL his playmakers on the field at one time...As I remember that worked out pretty well. with that said we will be up against. 11 men in the box all night...AGIAN!! But we will eventually wear them down..I'll say the game will be closer than it should be though.
