on that long kickoff return the melrose kid definitely started pointing to the stands at about the 30 when he thought he was home free(which he should of been) not only was it his fault for that, he had a convoy of blockers down the sideline who let a guy come all the way across the field, block him in the back, and still let him make the tackle. if mus punches it in and makes it 16-0 before halftime i dont think any of this would matter, but from that point on in the secong quarter until the late mus drive melrose owned the game. too many stupid penalties cost melrose dearly in this game...melrose out gained mus 259-159 but had 100 yds in penalties. mus' discipline won them this game

That is such a typical response by a sisters' fan. im sure that cbhs comitted absolutey zero penalties all game. you just cant handle the fact we out-played and out coached you. plus i noticed not many of yall hung around after the game...were you just to ashamed to own up to yet another loss to the buzzards? you can make all the excuses you please..the fact is we are back to back state champs and yall are still just a bucnch of purple wearing pansies. whoever said that MUS relies more heavily on the pass has probably not paid attention to the owls this season, while this might have been true in the past it is not the case this year. the buzzard D will hold BA to under 10 pts they avg. only giving up 8.5 over 11 games this season. MUS has to many playmakers on both sides of the ball and on special teams for BA to hold them down. but whoever comes out on top, tomorrow nights game will be a classic. GO BUZZARDS!

I definitely like the matchups better for MUS in this game. MUS defense vs. BA offense(win for MUS)- BA defense vs. MUS offense(push)- special teams clearly goes to MUS as well. BA will not be able to generate enough offense, especially if it is raining really bad as the weather channels say. MUS' defense will get the job done again against BA, this time for the title!
