See right here is where your Dekalb co education got in your way. York was never mentioned in my post. I was talking about McCoin and how he plays on Saturdays. Charlie High and how he plays on Saturdays. I mean Butch Jones asked High to be a preferred walk on which means he would have got a scholarship. I know for a fact Poteete is at home on Saturdays. Yes but I would take McCoin over Poteete. He has the size and speed and the arm. That's why he will be playing on Saturdays in the next few years. It will be a battle between him and Charlie High who has BCB records and 2 state titles for the starting nod at TTU.

For the most part I am willing to bet that no one really cares about the comparison between QB's. I am willing to bet that most people are sick of reading how the guru (Uppercumberlandman) has a man crush on York, and called him "Special" and has been seriously chugging the UHS kool-aid. I mean he is so all knowing and such a football guru that people on here are enjoying busting his chops and proving him wrong. That's my bet.

Why don't all the team national get on here and back Maynord up? You think they would be on here to offer some moral support. But I just bet ya one thing come Friday night they will be in full force wearing blue and red. They are going to put the black and gold up for one Friday night only and it's coming this Friday. I agree 100% with your post. York couldn't hold TT's jock strap!! From what I saw of Cates he is not in the same league as him either. But UCM claims to know what good football and good players look like. Claims to have played D1 ball and played with many D1 players. Claims to be educated, but yet sounds like a moron most of the time...I.e. "who I talkin about?" Like I said in a previous post on another thread I would take Philips and McCoin way way before I would consider taking York.

He is special for 8AA their you have it. That district is way down this year compared to years past. Saw him against the best teams in the district last year and he was not the best player in the field when he was healthy last year. The only thing that makes him the best this year is the lack of overall talent in the district this year. If Linders or Hollers where healthy they would be the two best players.

Yes he is a good high school football player, but I would still take McCoin and Philips over him. Manning well he had a great Sophomore year and after that what has he done? He was a one way player for the most up until this year his stats should be much much better.

I said he is a good high school football player. To be considered "Special" you need to have things that go with "Special" like multiple offers. Of course coaches in the Uppercumberlandman are going to say they he is good cause most play UHS. He is what makes their offense good. If you can stop York you can beat Upperman plain and simple.

I would not call him by any means special!! He is a good high school football player, but for the term "Special" to be used is far fetched! It sounds like the same garbage a few years ago when his brother was playing people saying he was "Special". Jalen Hurd is special, Todd Kelly is special, Vic Wharton is special. Connor York is not special.

Nix isn't leaving East TN...he bought a nice big house a few years ago, his whole family lives in Maryville and if he leaves Alcoa it won't be for Smith Co it will be for somewhere like Oak Ridge.

Would like to see a good friend of mine get this job. He played at Kenwood apart of the team that went to semis or finals can't remember exactly I know Howdy would know. Played at APSU with him good LB and he is defensive guy having coached LBs in the college ranks
