denlron- i find it very amusing that you are an "ooltewah fan" when the only time i have seen you mention ooltewah is when they played a game with soddy daisy. you have talked about the soddy daisy teams in the past more than anything else combined on here. yes we know they were good, but lets talk about some of the things going on now, like the region tournament who have ooltewah and soddy daisy(2005 team) invlolved in them. thanks buddy

Soddy is playing good ball and will not have much problem with cumberland, and will probly beat ooltewah in the 2nd round. The trojans feel they should have been playing ooltewah in the district finals, playing brainerd into overtime and having a tech called in OT which(in my mind) lost the game for the trojans. But this Soddy team is hungier than i have seen any team of trojans in the last 5 years....watch out for them.

You people are stupid.... just because the tournament is at cumberland, doesn't mean the jets will by any means be getting an easy first round. Soddy has been playing great ball as of late. whipping up on Red Bank in the consolation game and playing 5 vs 8 with brainerd into overtime when they got screwed by the zebras.... Anyways the point i'm making is that the winner of mcminn vs ooltewah(whom i think will be ooltewah) will be playing the trojans.

First game jitters for wes, he'll come around......he just turned 16 like 2 months ago. Look for wes to be hitting close to 90's towards the end of the season....

They SHOULD make it to the region championship game, but mcminn or the winner of soddy/cumberland is very capable to knock them off.

Lets hope so, they've beaten cumerland already this season and i know they can beat ooltewah as well....

The well will be full next year, the class of 2006 is stacked at SDHS, but after that in football and basketball there will not be much.

Soddy beat red bank pretty decisivly in the consolation game last night, personally i think they should have been playing ooltewah but the owls looked very good and soddy probably would have lost but i think they can beat cumberland they went 1-1 with them this season but cumberland is a lot better at home than on the road.

He can touch 91, he did it once(that i know of) he can hit 87 88 pretty consitently from what i have seen.

Rumor has it Corey Bush will be coming out and playin short stop for the trojans. He was named MVP last year forhis amazing stops in like 200 slow pitch softball tournaments, were he got some rockets hit down the 3rd base line at him.

The best pitcher in the Chattanooga area this year will be Wes McIntyre of Soddy Daisy. He's made grea improvements over the summer hitting 90-91 on his fastball with amazing change up, breaking ball, and control. Being scouted by Bama, South Carolina and Clemson.

ref told him like 4 times to get his jersey tucked in and i heard him say if its not in next time its a tech and then with like a min left in ot he just sat him down on the bench

I was talking to josh mcalpin today(had the technical called on him in OT) and he said after the game he was walking out to his car and the ref that called the 'T' approched him and told him that "Y'all (SD Players) should be ashamed of the way yall act when yall are on the floor and how you talk back to us". From what i could tell the brainerd players were the only ones complaining about the calls. Coach shumate told the trojans after last fridays game with brainerd not to even look at the officials if they make a call. And what was up with Emanuel Talley getting ejected from the game, but no tech's called????? I just don't understand why these officials are so horrible. Soddy played there hearts out and deserved to win the game and the officials took it away from them. On another note for the game thursday, i believe ooltewah will beat brainerd by more than 8, and i don't know if soddy will be emotionally prepared to play again, today at school all the players were pretty bummed about the game, i hope they can pull it together. Go Trojans!!

Open enrollment is why west tn teams are so good. In Chattanooga you have to go to the high school you are zoned for, and if you don't, you can't play sports. From what I can see all the good ball players can go to the good basketball schools in west tn.

This year could be different seeing as how :Brainerd beat cleveland twice, and cleveland beat bradley, i think Brainerd and Ooltewah deffinatly have a shot at the big guns from 5AAA.

He didn't play because he twisted his ankle pretty bad in practice the other day. Probly won't play tonight but should be back by next week.
