  1. I'm not too sure that Caleb Skogen should be put in the top 55 at all. Yeah he's a pretty good baller but he's not the greatest all around player from what I've seen and heard. I've seen him play and one of the things I've seen is that he is many times "out of control". He drives to the basket alot -- but he misses many of his shots -- even layups. Yes, he many times will draw fouls -- but he really doesn't have a consistent outside shot. But I will give him this, he is very quick and can handle the rock. I would say that he should be in the top 100 in the state.
  2. Brentwood should be able to win this one -- but McCallie does have a pretty good team. My boyz Ayanga Okpokowuruk and Walt Dozier will give BA a run for their money that's for sure. But I got to think that if they don't bring their A-Game they will not get the W. Good luck to you guys.
  3. Cleveland should win this one with no problem -- that is if my man Charles Little comes to play and show everyone that he is one of the best players in the state. McMinn is not a push over team -- but I believe they'll have to play one of their best games to win over Cleveland.
  4. Grant it Temple didn't play well against McCallie the other night - but I wouldn't even count them out as Class A favorite to win state. I haven't seen CPA play this year -- but I can't imagine them being better than Temple this year. So it ought to be interesting to see how things go when they play each other.
  5. CSAS will win this game with no problem. I understand that Grace no longer has Nick Van Horn on their team -- and that will be a big blow to their season. I'd say this will be no contest and the final score will be: CSAS 76 Grace 59
  6. yeah the game was not the best i've seen and I think Temple blew their chance of winning the game by poor coaching and playing in the end. they allowed mccallie to pull away from them. temple didn't do their job of taking care of the ball in the 4th quarter. they took some bad shots and didn't play much defense. it appeared they were just wore out in the end. that could be in part of not having the players on the bench to give the starters a break. i'm not quite sure of why they didn't play more of their bench - unless they just don't have much talent. i was really surprised by the skogen kid. i've heard lots about him, but he really didn't show me much on tuesday evening. i'm sure he just didn't have one of his better nights -- but for a senior i would think he would have had better leadership for his team. i guess i would blame that on his coaches. Well maybe i'll get to see temple play again in the future -- but for this time i was not really impressed by the team i've heard so much about as being a state championship contender. again, maybe they just had a bad night -- but they definitely have some things to work on. Good luck.
  7. how well teams are doing? From what i've seen -- temple probably could beat many of the teams on the list right now: Brainerd Howard Ooltewah Tyner CCS McMinn Central
  8. Look i'm not a temple fan -- but you have to give them some credit. they only have a small amount of students and they have always seemed to put together a good team over the last 10 years. plus they do have the gold balls in the case -- so you can't take anything away from them. pretty impressive if you ask me.
  9. yeah -- gotta have my former school on there (bradley central). 1. Bradley Central 2. Temple 3. Brainerd 4. Howard 5. Cleveland 6. Ooltewah 7. Tyner 8. CSAS 9. CCS 10. McMinn Central
  10. I've seen both teams play and they both have a pretty good team. i don't think that red bank has what it takes to beat sd -- but i wouldn't completely rule them out of it. this probably won't be a great game -- but if you're a fan from either school it should be a fun one to be at and make some noise. I'm pickin SD to pull out the win by 6 (57-51).
