Look i was at the game white county was just better they would probably beat ya 7 out of 10 times!!! Apparently we werent at the same White Co. CCHS game. White Co. held on to the W with 18 seconds on the clock CCHS was at the Sparta 8 about to take it to overtime. Pretty even, look i give your Coach props he pretty much changed his entire offense for this game. He came out and spread us out and ran the football. It looked like Sparta Coach took CCHS playbook and used it after he watched the film on us. It looked identical to us except some times when he got under center and went power O or iso. Good game plan good luck in the playoffs, but I dont think Sparta has another upset in em this week. AC-56 Sparta-0

I dont think Yankees and Patriots is a good comparison to the Livingston Academy Wildcats. Especially since Stone has almost beat you already once and CCHS should have.

Everyone calm down. Look CCHS is showing major improvement over the past 3 seasons. Schultz practically ran CCHS football into the ground. '08 Jets Offense had just under 1200 total yards for the season. Terryl Bowen had eclipsed the entire '08 teams total by himself by week 8. Not to mention Tyler Howard's 850 yards rushing and 8 Tds. The '09 Jets finished with over 3000 total yards and had its first 1000 yard rusher in 6 years. The program is moving forward and picking up the pieces to a tragedy of a program that we experienced '06-08. In 5 games that CCHS lost the Jets had more total yards, by 100+, than their opponent. I know you dont win in total yardage but we are definately better than we have been in a long time. If this coaching staff had this past group of seniors for 4 years they would have been very competitive. Thinks are looking up for Jet football and we are trying to learn how to win tough games. I understand your frustration with the Sparta loss, and all I can account that for is they made plays we didnt. If you have been taught your whole high school career that losing is ok then you wont get much done on the field. I think when it comes down to it Schultz had a lasting effect on this group of kids and it will take some time for them to get that out of them. Believe it or not things are going to be OK at CCHS, Romans didnt rebuild Rome in a day. Oh by the way I dont believe Coach Partin ever said anything about 8-2 when he first took the job. Who says things like that when your taking over a 1-39 program. Give me a break JET PRIDE

Week 2 rematch. Congrats to Stone and their coaching staff. LA has a good team that can score some points. Stone is gritty and can keep it close if the D comes to play. Im gonna take stone in the upset. Id like to see someone from the Plateau knock LA off

Jets are at White Co. friday night with a playoff berth on the line. Its simple win and we're in. Sparta hasnt won a game all year and havent scored a point in 10 quarters. Jets are better than their 2-7 record states. Despite Sparta's 0-9 record we know they will be hungry and looking for revenge for last years game. Jets cannot take Sparta lightly we have to go and play 4 quarters of football. CCHS hasnt been to the playoffs in 6 years its time to put our torpedo on the wall!

This is basically a district championship game. Cookeville wins 35-7, Coffee gets a TD late.

Ok guys this the deal.. we have a good chance to finish 4-6 which is a great improvement from where we have been in the past. We can still make the playoffs with a win over white co. That would be tremendous for the Jets who havent made the playoffs since 2003. We have had some winable games slip through our hands but we are going through some growing pains right now. It hurts when we lose and thats the way its should be. Take away a few plays this year and we are possibly 6-2. Crazy huh? Could have or even should have beaten LA, York, Warren, Coffee Co. We have to play 4 quarters of football and finish teams when we have them down. I guess for a group of kids that have never really won, its hard to do what you havent done. We cant be satisfied with moral victories.

Cumberland is looking to get a much needed district win. This is actually a very big game for both teams. I expect Coffee to be fired up and ready to play since they are undefeated in the district. The Jets have been facing the wing t and veer option game for the past few weeks, so D needs to come ready. Jet O would score points if they didnt shoot themselves in the foot everytime we get a drive going. That is where discipline and effort come into play, eliminate mental mistakes and you will be fine. Coffee has played a tough schedule this year. Lost to a good Lincoln team even tho they were winless. Lincoln comes to this area they would proly be better. I think this will be a good game. I hope both teams come ready to play

Yall i guess i would be considered old school, but i really dont like this game. i still think Cumberland County should have built a new CCHS and turned the old CCHS into a 6-8 middle school. Would have helped football in this area so much, but i guess that would've made to much sense. So we went to the totally opposite end of the spectrum, keep 27 elementary schools (sarcasm) and totally split the population in half creating even less depth and competitiveness. Imagine if Stone and CCHS were still one, I think we'd be pretty darn good. Instead both teams records are less than mediocre. I guess im still just disappointed that we even have to play this rivalry but oh well GO JETS!!!!!!!!

Battle of the Plateau this friday night at CCHS. CCHS trying to get on track with a much needed win as the Jets try to make a late playoff run. Stone looks to continue dominating the rivalry. Teams seem to match up well. Thoughts, Opinions, Predictions

District game 2 this week. Look guys we are getting better and are very close to being a really good team. We have got to put it all together and have a complete game. Its time we start learning how to win. We all know we can win lets just do it. District play is pretty much here for us and that is all that must matter now. Lets just use the past as a learning experience and take care of business for the rest of the season. Getting in the Playoffs is our goal right now. Lets continue to come together as a team win out in the district and win some playoff games. We are really close we have to continue to sell out. LETS GO JETS!!

Warren Co. 3-3 Cumberland 1-4. Warren fans probably are content with thier record, but Jet fans know 1-4 doesnt show the actual teams reflection. CCHS has lost some tough hard fought games and have been fighting adversity all season. Warren is 1-1 in the district with Cumberland and Cookeville still on the district schedule. Jets are 0-1 in the district and need to get on the board with a W, playoffs right around the corner. Thoughts, Opinions, Predictions??

i agree the boys on the field will have to fight it out. I just wanted to let people know that we are better than our record. 1-3 sounds like the same ole Jets, but we are competitive.

ok maybe not one of the best teams in the state because if either of those teams went east and played alcoa, maryville, faragut, catholic I dont think they would fare that well. I would have to put both of those teams in the top 30 in the state tho.

Jet fans we cannot hang our heads with a 1-3 start. We have played a really tough first half schedule: Marion (3-1) Meigs (2-3) Livingston (3-1) Cookeville (4-1) The rest of the schedule is favorable compared to the first half. We must take care of business in the district games and get back on track this week and take care of York! ALL I CAN SAY IS JET PRIDE!!!
