MoWest is the best 5a team in east Tenn in my opinion. They should win by at least two tds.

Of course West's district is pathetic; however, you insinuated they wouldn't be battle tested when the playoffs roll around which is flat out wrong. They play a couple of good teams outside of their district. For fan of a team that has been pure garbage for the last decade or longer, you talk a lot of smack about the defending state champions. Sounds like Tennessee fans (and I'm a huge Tennessee fan myself....) BTW, where did I make excuses? There's no shame in winning by 20 points. It's just a fact that if not for the weather it would have been an even bigger margin of victory.

Man they should have put up 50 points! Also, you forget west's still plays farragut and Fulton. Crawl back to your little bobcat den now and hope Fulton doesn't destroy you.

Any team worth their salt beats Carter by at least 3 tds. Would have been much worse if not for the weather delay as well. Central is vastly improved, but they still aren't on west's level.

The only games left West could potentially lose are Farragut and Fulton. Just an unbelievably bad district they're in.

West, Farragut, and sevier county are the 5A contenders in east Tenn this year. However, I would put SC last among this group simply because their style of play. Dobyns Bennett must be down this year.

Just remind them what West did to Asheville last year. Asheville was really really good over there from what I read.

Thank you so much. I was a little confused. I was using last year as a reference. West last year is what a championship team looks like. And west this year, SC, and oak ridge would get obliterated by last year's west team.

I seriously doubt it. A lot can change between now and the end of the season (I fully expect West to be hard to beat come playoff time) but right now? Absolutely not. The mid state and west end of the state probably comprise the top 5 if I had to guess.

Wouldn't subject myself to calling in with those idiots. And I never said West was the best team. But West is probably the most athletic team SC will play all year. SC will have to drive the ball.

Until Sevier County adopts a different style of offense, they're not going to win the big one. Dobyns Bennett doesn't count......they always choke in the playoffs. They'll continue to beat up on the NET teams, but they're not going to have much success against teams like West when you can't out athlete them by running by them and chucking it.

So you pretty much admitted they live and die on the big pass play. That is eerily similar to living and dying by the 3 pointer. They won't win state like that. They could go out in the first round on an off night that way.
