DB and South were going at it too! Great fight for the Lady Rebels, who may or may not have pulled another upset on DB had Campbell not got injured. Great career for Campbell, she will be missed next year. I believe DB will give Tn High a good fight also. That may be a tough game to call and one you don't want to miss! Good luck Ladies!!!

How do you figure DB and South will make it when they are playing each other in the win or go home game. Hate to tell you but only one can win, the other's season will end. This will be a good game but hard for South as they will be out- sized by DB's 3 bigs,

I believe I stated the fact that Miss Mitchell was an all- around player, did I not? Let me say again that she is an all- around player and has been a huge asset to TH. You are right, everyone has games where they are non-existing and that is where TH AND SH have a hugh advantage over the other teams. Someone else always steps up! I believe Mitchell will be all-conf. if not POY but I know she will be in the mix so noone is leaving her out.

Not sure why you would put Osborne in there when she has done very little this year. Gray deserves it more and she should not be cheated. POY should be the Reid girl from SH unless they want to give it too a senior in that case it would be tough. Mac, Kestner, and Burleson are all good players. Burleson has alot of help from her teammates so her job is alot easier. Mac and Kestner have to play more roles for their teams and it makes it alot harder on them.

I agree with you TommyMan I don't think Devine deserved it either. Just because she deserved volleyball I think they automatically give her basketball but who knows what they based it on. I said from the start that Reid would be a contender for POY AND SHE IS! I believe they are blowing Mitchell's stats up like they have all season. She is an all around player but like someone said what did she do in the BIG games. She was non existing in a few so that is where Burleson is better. Is Mitchell really avg 16ppg? Don't think so.

I don't think so...Central beat the kool aid kids the first go and Boone beat the kool aid kids the other night and Central beat Boone so that sounds like a tangled mess if you ask me. I say fourth thru seventh is still a toss up.

Wow, what has happened to the Rebs.? Could someone please tell me what has happened to this team? I know they didn't lose that many valuable players last year, but you would think they lost their starting five the way they have been this year. If the Hill couldn't beat MO EAST what makes you think they will have a deep post season? Looks like it is Tenn. High but that is no surprise.

I don't know why the leaders have changed but the young ones have taken over. The Reid girls and the freshmen look to be in charge of that team now and seem to be doing a great job! Looks to me like the Reid girl will be the one making a run for POY.

I agree with you sparky. The Hill may be able to handle everyone in the big 8 but outside that there are teams with extreme talent and experience. I don't think they have that much going for them to bring home the gold but who knows. The season is young and crazier things have happened.....

Don't feel to bad falcon mom, I would say the Hill will run over the rest of the conference just like they did you all.. keep on making the kool-aid it can't be good all the time.

Science Hill is not only better but their leaders have changed. The young ones will be leading the pack this year so i would say the Hill will be the dominate force for the next two years at least. Way ahead of the rest of the conference noone else even comes close!

Have you been taking your medicine? Do you really think DB will be that far down the list? Has Volunteer brought in a bunch of recruits no one knows about? You really should pick up your prescription.....

You don't get out much do you? T.H. AND S.H. will be the front runners again since neither one lost any significant players. Not real sure who you think is the best guard in the conference or state but I can guarantee you they are NOT on your team. There are alot of good guards out there and you all have one but please be realistic.

You may not be giving Volunteer enough credit. Granted they may have lost alot but they still have alot of size, perhaps the most size in the big 8 other than DB. Lindholm is a great talent who should be able to lead her team to several wins. They won't be on the bottom....

Blaine should be back by middle of season so don't count her out yet. Not sure what talent you are talking about Science Hill having but aren't you leaving out South? And perhaps Central?

Megan plays traveling volleyball during the summer which is the sport she will most likely play in college. But wasn't Blaine down for most of the summer also. Anyway you look at it the only way Julie will get to start is if Blaine is out the beginning of the season. Blaine and Megan are DB's Big Guns.....

Not avoiding the question but as you stated you already know so no need to air laundry. Just curious how you name Julie as one of the top three when she barely seen the floor last year and you leave out Megan D. when she outplayed everybody? Did you just overlook her or you don't think she is deserving?

Oh I agree with you on Rachel being the crucial element. She is by far the great thing THS has going for them. I must disagree that you think she is not college material. Any D1 school would love to have her, she just needs to get her name out there. With her size and talent who wouldn't want her?

Did you ever stop to think that the reason Kimmie AND Rachel wanted to leave THS was because others were not team players? Maybe the prima donna lies elsewhere.....

Not sure how you think losing Kimmie is not going to hurt TH. That is a tremendous loss for them as is obvious since someone has gone to great lengths to try and prevent her from playing somewhere else.
