Don't disagree I thought OR looked better then the past four years under Blade. By need year it will have turned the corner and I am not a OR man. Sad you guys have fan like that first game and ready to get rid of him.

Saunders got kick off his freshman year for his grades, Sterling there is little ? there and Jackson and Hoague are the only true one that got anything and both the Reviez walked on at up before they got anything.

Not Farragut you may have one every two or three years if any at all pretty sad for a school this size.

And Alcoa is a 2A school and I don't see you lining up to play them. Ask Marryville how a little 2A school plays. Classification defines the size of the pool not the quality of athletes. I read in Saturdays News Sential on the computer now they are already ready to get Blade gone. I have never seen a program sink so fast as this program did and there big fans are right behind them. I would love to know who you are and place a bet with you on this. Van Dyne, Purty maybe but Browning there is NO WAY he is a D-1 players good arm but that is it. Might want to look at the D-1 QB's and see what there size plus 40-times are. It would really surprise me to see any of this two go to D-1 schools Farragut just does not do a good job at all helping players get D-1 or any college for that matter. Doesn't make any since.

I guess I will have to eat more crow with Purty having a good game. What is up with Farragut fans you guys hardly had any at the game friday plus last week with DB. For a program like they have had these past few years good night and the band to OR played three times as many songs (what ever you call it with a band) then Farragut ever did I thought they had some big band program.

How many kids have quit since the season has started. Didn't Jetton get alot of playing time last year as a soph. Also did Tanner Burnette quit to.

DB really looked bad. That was not a DB team. Farragut looked ok have some work to do Purty looked pretty good there but DB missed alot of tackles in the second half. Alot if's in that game with DB scoring chances twices and got nothing. First game though.

That sounds good.I can see all the former Indians doing the walk out of the golden gates,coming to a town near you and as they enter the stands to watch the 2011 Indians being the first of ten straight state championships.If I 'm going to go big,it might as well start this year!! So what you are saying if you lose no big deal everyone picked Farragut but if you win THE GOLDEN GATES WILL OPEN UP and you guys will be the best team in the state like last year.

That sounds easy enough,but even with the box stacked,you must be able and get to the outside and watch screens behind you.Don't forget that you have to tackle two allstate players in the backfield.With just a small opening we have to take good angles in the secondary as well.They are big and fast to boot.When we go big on defense,we allso go slow.So sometimes you just strap on your helment and give 110%.The key to this game is slowing Farragut down and our offense doing everything it can to have long scoring drives.Roll Tribe You have to have faith. I thought all you big DB fan have your team up on a high gold fence oh that was last year before McMinn County came back and beat you guys not going to get to high this year uh.

To answer you question yea and the commit about the Aloca scrimmage (a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then). All I heard about this kid last year and the few games I saw no he really didn't have the break away speed looks good but thats it. Last years o-line was pretty good and this years teams o-line no where close to last years team. All you have to do against Farragut is watch last years WB, OR, Ooltewahs games and load the box against them. Healthy or not Browning can not run. allvolfan1 what in the world are you talking about. The first time I say Purty and never seen him play you could tell he was a player. He came in late pretty much right at the being of the first game. He started out a little slow learning the system but looked pretty good and got better as the season went on. If you looked at the stats you saw that he ran for 1300 yards last year. Last years team throw alot and scored from throwing and running Purty really did not have to make a real long run with the WR they had last year. I will have to agree with star power about the Aloca game and the 75 yard run looked pretty good. This year team will be fine. From the word around town Browning is not playing friday night not saying he might not take a few snaps but they wanted to get his feet under him and get ready for OR which is a region game nothing against DB but you have to win the region games to go to the playoffs with this new setup. Farragut is a little young on the o-line but if they can not get them ready then it does not matter if Browning plays or not. Defense has a good front three not real sure whats behind them and the LB's really only has the Harper kid back and the DB should be O.k.. I hope Allen will play bothways he is a pretty good FS. #9 Allen is the kid to watch this year good player. allvolfan1 come to more games them a few before you judge a player. This game will be a good test for Farragut playing DB out of the shoot DB is a good football and I can't wait to see there big stud running back he was a freshman the last time I saw him and he looked good then. I do not know why you put the Hudson kid in there. What one game. Purty longest run was against SD 67, Bradley 35 and that was it. Look at OR, WB, Ooltewah I and II, Bearden game not saying his not a good back just does not have that third gear. van dyne as long as HE does good thats what matters, what is that #9 kid I thought was a player then van dyne was are they going to let him play both ways. Teams are going to watch Ooltewah tapes and see what slows Farragut down with Browning or van dyne look at the Ooltewah game last year in the playoffs when he throw the ball. I've seen Farragut's backs , hitting them is not so easy.If you give them a little opening,they are gone! The one in 2007 but these two have zero break away speed and not a tough run as the one in 2007. These backs at not like the one you guys saw in 2007 trust me.

That tells you how weak Farragut O-line is this year if they have a freshman coming up to the varsity. I will agree with you starpower on the 6A with a freshman o-line man. I could see a WR,RB.

This Farragut team is not one of the better Farrgut teams that they have had in the last few years. Good d-line but not much behind them and the LB's not solid at all and the DB's Ok. DB defense get after Farragut early and hits there running back's and stays after Farragut they can win this game. Read the Farragut Press Newspaper and there coach said Browning will Not play in this game and get him ready for the OR game the next week.

Were they not the #1 team in the state last year and went to Ooltewah and got there back end kick in. 31-3. Farragut is not tough enough to play with the big boys. They have had state teams the last 3 years and look what happens. I just do not think Farragut will be as good as what everyone thinks they will be this year. We will see this Friday night.

What is new with the Farragut program. I would not say they have a solid coaching staff at all. What Farragut problem will be this year is no senior leadership. If the word around town of Farragut showing in scrimmages and last Saturday night 6-5 and will not make the playoff this year.
