What could be more improtant than the opening round of the region basketball tournament? Must be the football awards banquet or something. Bet if this happened at Bolivar or Jackson Liberty the "other" event would have to move to another night.

Who is this board member some mountain inbred with NO teeth and NO formal education trying to dictate policy over an educator with more intelligence than they have. I hope this coach tells them to stick their worthless job up their anal orifice.

Hey barb dear.....the Indians are getting their reparations checks every month for pale face stealing sacred hunting ground and they got that nice casino down in MS......let the mascots stay....grab a cold one and just chill out! By the way the reservation school there has the "Warriors" for their mascot and their gym is called the "Scalping Grounds". Do they have change as well or do they get a pass as an "injured" race?

Lets be fair to this guy. From the moment he was hired it was evident that CC cared nothing about being a basketball force. He is a good old boy who is liked. Nobody cares about this program. So stay off his back....OK?

Kiel is great? Oh my sonny boy and I thought your infatuation with Doug was just a "summer" thing.....Kiel does a respectable job and knows the game but great......no I don't think so. Bob Knight is great. Just thought I would illustrate the difference.

I agree with this statement......only way any of these teams has a shot at serious postseason is if they go back east again and that won't happen.

Prolly not although their coach will schedule enough creampuffs early in the season.....won't help come district. With the Boro schools so tough now I don't think Lebanon will factor anymore. Just an opinion.

Columbia The rest.....if you took an all star team from the remaining group they would finish no better than 4th in 7AAA......and you are right about KT......tough young coach who learned from a legend...Kermit Forkum...who I believe was also his grandpop...... Kevin might have been a better hs football player but he has adjusted well to hs basketball.

When this guy moves it is a stability issue....when Thompson moves he "bounces" like a rubber ball....check yourself Dartman.

They used to have some good teams there.....didn't Luna coach the girls to the state in the 60's ?

It seems like Dartman has a one man crusade against Coach Thompson. Can't outcaoch the guy so lets talk about a "character" issue.....as I stated before Dartman if the credential thing was such a big deal to WC before why did they hire him back into the system? As far as the other incident you stated I guess it just proves Thompson is not very good at being an assistant coach and being in the background. That is a no brainer.

He was in Lebanon for 3 days last week......then the last part of the week he went to the KY state tournament at Rupp Arena. Don't think he talked to anyone.

I don't know about all his accomplishments.....just that he has maybe 2 state appearences. I know his Dad and brother much better. The thing is there are alot of people here who respect his coaching ability and are interested in what he does....as far as the bouncing around thing...if he was not a good coach, teacher and person would he have anyplace to "bounce" to?

Relax old buddy...his Dad filled out my taxes on Saturday...he is not interested in the Lebanon job...well at least not girls. By the way he lost in the first round of the state this year in MS. Thought you would like to know that for all you Thompson watchers.

There are alot of folks here that believe that if he had been here when we had that run of talent that we would have at least 2 gold balls in that trophy case and I happen to be one of them. As I said I never said he was a SAINT...then again deep down how many good coaches are?

I am not sure about all that......I know he has had a tendency to be a little arrogant.....I never said he was a saint I just said he could coach...jeesh excuse me for stirring up a hornet's nest.
