  5. Mike Newman was won 47 striaght matches and go hurt in the state quarters and had to go to the hospital due to a torn hip muscle. He tried to wrestle in the semi-final against the one that won the state that year and he had him in a cradle the whole last period but couldn't lower his hip for the pin. He lost that match on point. He injury defalted the three matche the next day so he could place in the state. His senior year he went 57 striaght wins. If you don't count the injury match and the injury defaults he won 104 striaght matches.

  7. All that I know is that after high school Adrian danced for MC Hammer. He was in Chatttanooga at the Round House back in the date 80's or early 90's. If you watch this youtube video you will see Adrian dancing at the 48 sec into the video. Adrian and Mike Newman used go the places and Adrian would challenge others to breakdance. Adrian was not only a great wrestler but a great dancer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GigQeT19 ... re=related
  8. Does anyone know if the finals are going to be on the internet! I sure would like to see them. If they are what time does the finals start.
  9. Does anyone know the team Scores. I would like to see a link to the brackets if they have them.
  10. I want to congradulate both schools: 1. For having the guts to schedule the game. 2. For the coaching staffs of both schools knowing that "Iron sharpens Iron" better competition makes both teams better. 3. For both coaching staffs and players being able to come back when they were down and "Ole Mo" against. Neither team lost it's poise and did dumb stuff, they stayed cool and keep their heads in the game. 4. Neither team lost, because of what the coaches and players learned about themselves that will pay back BIG as the season goes along. When this season come to an end remember this game! As an old retired coach this was one of the most enjoyable games I have watched in a long time. I can not congraduate both school, coaching staffs, and players enough!
