You must not have watched closely. #44 and #11 are the OLB's, they play WR's and #11 will run the ball some as a back up WB. The DE's are #49 and #40, #49 is the starting FB and # 40 is the backup FB. They all play on offense, #44 was the WR that caught both passes, one for the long touchdown. Three of the four do run the ball, but why would they run the ball more when you have #7? I think the North Coaches know who they should have running the football. North knows how to run the football! i cant wait for the game now... i would like to see some of these players to get into the open field against volunteer and show the falcons there speed...but w.e just watch how fast north runs to the football

So North has a DE that runs a 4.4, why is he not being recruited by all the top D-1 programs in the nation with a 40 time like that? Why is he not your running back, especially if he is faster then Pearcy #7 who runs a 4.6? Sounds like North has a track team on Defense. yep thats what i said...and he plays full back....ok why dont that excuse me but color kid i dont kno his number or name hope no one gets mad at me for sayin that....but why dont he run the ball he def faster than devin...you got to be able to do stuff with the ball besides run fas football more lateral movements....and why isn't he gettin recrutied by a d1 school?.... but alex fields number 40 beat kaleb kitzmiller last year in track and kitzmiller is a fast boy...but maybe he will get in the open for you friday night and you can see for yourself just tellin you wat i kno

North must have one of the fastest D's in the area. 4.5 is really fast for players who play LB and DE in this area. Those two could outrun Volunteer's whole team if they really run that fast. I seen North play Thursday and I sure didn't see that speed on Defense. Central didn't play very well in that game. Any team with a Defense(Volunteer doesn't have a good D) should be able to beat North. All they do is run the ball and when they do throw it they put #7 in to complete a few. North's #7 is tough and they have a good O line. I think that Volunteer will be able to run and throw the football well in this game. If Volunteer stinks it up on the field again I still believe they could win. my cousin plays for north but he is a freshman and plays on jv...but any ways yes that is accuarte both outside linebackers run 4.6 40's and one DE ran a 4.4 and the other DE ran a 4.8...but those are on stop watches so those are not that accurate but still gives you a general idea that the defense is fast... one of the linebacker burnt that CB from central was like 5 yards behind him if you went to the game then you kno that was true...o pearcy #7 runs a 4.6 too again on a stop watch so there ya have it

yea the o line of volunteer will have to improve alot if they couldn't handle besty's d line cause north d line can either throw a big package at you or throw a small speedy package both which are really good at what they do

After watcing both teams play both teams need to work on some things.....volunteer needs to work on blocking the most....and north needs to work on tackling and some passing defense they missed tons of tackles against central...But since North flys to the football after one or two guys missed the other 8 were at the ball making the tackle..ex on how hard defense plays 4th and goal on the six yard line for central QB bounces it to the right side of the field(left for defense) brett jennings #44 linebacker ran from the oppisite side of the field to make the stop at like the half yard line he hit him and made him fumble out of bounds on of the greastest stops i have ever seen and even a greater defense of play by on player you cant coach that.... if north can work on there 1 on 1 tackling skills i don't see how deven will be able to run at all... he would have to juke or truck the whole defense if there line dont get better... and voulunteer wont have a drop off on tryin to stop betsy back to north backs...pearcy is quick and also has alot of power really hard to bring down...all of norths backs fall foward on a hit...and if volunteer goes 3 and out against north its goin to be a really long game for volunteer d since north controls the whole game with that double wing offense where they just pound the ball down your throat for 7 min at a time... i think north dominates this game and i live in church hill i love the falcons but i was impressed by north and they have a long way to go

i think everyone will pick volunteer no one ever gives north credit but i think north will pull out the victory should be a good game tho

I watch volunteer yesterday play besty volunteer didn't look to good especially there o line look horrible...and North d line looked pretty good against central on thursday(need to work on tackling but flys to the ball and hits hard as heck but thats north for you hard nose hitters)anyways i think north wins this but i could be wrong....eric pearcy is a stud for north he can just flat out play...north also has a good but rather small defensive linebacker(something jennings #44 he was all over the field making plays)...but the pass d of north didn't look so good....if volunteer could block a for lil bit and get a good throw up then north could be in trouble...i think it will be a good game what yall think
