Sounds like it was a good game.

Can't think of anything sadder than a young person losing or taking their own life. We get so wound up in winning and playing well and were so quick to rip on these kids when they miss a ball or strikeout or whatever in sports forgetting that their just kids. No one knows why this happened but it makes you stop and think we should all just chill out and let them be kids playing the game they love. Certainly keeping this young mans friends, family, and the entire riverside community in our thoughts and prayers from your friends on the east side of the river.

I have all the respect in the world for fcs but seriously don't hold the ball for 5 min today lol. I know why the coach did it because of foul trouble and just wanting to get to the half but if I pay that much for a game it better not be stall ball lol!

Fcs has a good ball team and has earned its right to be here. I am a Pc fan and yes we have played the much tougher bracket but thats not FCS fault they just played who they had to. I don't know that Fcs has played a defense like what Pc brings to the table fast and extremely disciplined. I hope! Pc can put away the nerves and play the first qtr tomorrow like they have played the last three the last two nights. If Pc can play calm, take care of the ball, attack the rim, and play D like they have been they will get the win. But better not look past this FCS team they are here for a reason!

Well we have now had a look at all three Mr. Basketball finalist and upon further review maybe Tucker made it rain on two of the three.I know we just saw them play one game and you can't go on that but they found a hole and hid there when their Mr. Basketball abilities were needed. Maybe the real Mr. Basketball is Mr. Football. Otherwise there was plenty of stuff the refs let go like Lc holding on to Rhodes jersey all night to keep track of him. A good ol well coached D with some fundamentals takes care of a lot of that. Great season to Lake Co I thought you guys had a great team it was a pleasure to watch and I wish you the best in the future.

LOL!! WAY TO GO VIKINGS!!!!!!

It was close between Pc and Mcewen. Regardless of who had more It was great to see these two relatively close towns supporting there schools like that. Gotta love small town ball!

Where to begin.... The 1997 team was the best I've ever seen period. The head coach of today was on that team in Haston you had Chris Jones who was arguably just as good, Cory Brown who was a stud and could have played D1 imo, Mitchell Rhodes could shoot lights out from long range and then a deep bench with multiple players 6'5 plus. 37-0 with very few games being close. Beat the 2A state champion that year in a blowout, won the State Championship game that year by what I believe is still the largest margin of victory ever in a state championship game. From other seasons Mike Rhodes is obviously a legend along with Albert Ellison who I never saw play but I've heard from those who did that he is one of Tennessee's all time greats. The list goes on and on. Don't know where your from but come visit Pc's trophy case some time it takes up an entire hall. And unlike a lot of other schools we only hang banners for making it to the title game we have 7 hanging in our gym. Hopefully after today we can hang another!!

I wasn't impressed by Lake counties competition. Btw's defensive game plan of standing and watching the game go by should have really opened things up for Lc. At least Wartburg got after it from start to finish even when they were getting there teeth kicked in.

Pc will be able to turn the defense up a notch I believe vs what lake co saw today. Lc is a tremendous team and I like the way they get after it. If Pc comes out and plays all game long like they did today after a slow start it will be a great game and Pc will have a great shot to win. It will be interesting to see if Pc being able to coast through the last quarter and a half while Lc had to play a game plus some will have any affect on the game tomorrow.

I think out of this region C'wood and possibly Ca could sneak into the picture this season.

Man why is everyone getting so worked up the night before the big game!? I know we (Pc) have a few fans who get a little carried away and while I think they mean well, their or our bragging and at times trash talking does not represent the kids on the court. I promise you not one single player on Pc's team is overlooking Wartburg, I promise you they respect wartburgs players and the game that they bring to the floor. I have watched few teams in my life that play as hard as they do without mouthing a word or having an attitude. I'm excited about tomorrows game because I know both teams are going to bring 100% of everything they have to the game and I believe both teams are going to do so graciously win or lose. I believe Pc will win and couldn't be prouder of them win or lose. And if we don't advance I will be pulling for Wartburg in the semi's. I know everyone is getting a little on edge but enjoy the moment these teams have worked hard to put on this show.

I really can't see this being more than a 15 point game either way. I think the first two games of the single A tournament are going to be ones to remember.
