What was the fight about? Didn't get to the game

I got the Cookeville score right, but underestimated the cats, Go cats!!!

Let say Coffee co and Warren Co finish 1 and 2, they automatically qualify for the playoffs, Cookeville finish 3rd but have better records and finish at 6-4, Tssaa looks at them as possible playoff team. Cumberland Co finish with better record than White Co but White Co beat them and Finish at 1-9 Tssaa will not qualify them as a playoff team. The problem they had with the system last year is that Franklin Co at 4-6, White Co at 1-9, Springfield at 4-6, and Hillsboro at 3-7 made playoffs as automatic qualifiers and teams with better overall records didn't because of their distict.

Yeah, Coffee Co real slow, Shelbyville has some guys who can break it if not careful, Coffee came out bragging and boasting and was being cocky so they got destroyed.

Don't get too cocky yet, thats what Shelbyville did last year and they finished without a winning season. Only 1 week down and you guys played White Co, wait till you play Lawrence Co and win before you start bragging.

This game is a toss up at the moment, Both teams Are looking for their first win as Cookeville lost to Giles Co in a close one 28-21 and of course Tullahoma got outmatched by Blackman 49-27. Game will come down to who wants it more, both teams battled back for deficits and fought till the end. Look for Tullahoma to score late to win 24-20.

I agree, Oakland looks to be the team to beat, I wish they would put a couple of your teams in the 6AAA where they can play in the playoffs, You guys are the best region in the state and one of you guys should win the state.

I believe Lincoln Co will have a tough time stopping Blackman but will give it all that they have in doing so I see Blackman scoring in the 40's.

Seen Shelbyville play, they are extremely fast and I believe they will take this one.

Alright 1 Week down, we all seen our teams in action, Who will win this game and what should the fans look to see from Coffee and Bradley this week

I hope UT takes a real good look at him, Love to see in orange but my Father-in-law would love to see in Irish color.

They took an INT and took it to the house, of course it was the same guy that scored most of the TD's, Get them early, they catch on pretty quick, that what happened with the INT, overall I think it woulld be a close game, can not really say how good they are because Coffee runs alot,most people know that.

Any D1 schools looking at him?

If you know anybody on the team tell them that their RB, WR and QB are fast, there was several instances that two raiders was there to tackle and they blew by them in a blink of an eye, they need to concentrate on those guys. One tackle for them, DE or Dt was pretty good, made several stops in the backfield.

Do you have Stats or can tell us what they did and how the game went?

Actually they did more passes than past years but will get better, they are actually practicing the passing game at their practices, Cool, that means we would only need 1 More WR and Runningback if he decides to go to Coffee Co, and Nunley will have the Defense rolling in a few weeks hopefully, THATS A BIG HOPEFULLY., or its going to be a LONG SEASON!

Give Coffee a few years the freshmen I heard are fast, Number 21, I think is a frshmen and he looked decent for a frshmen, broke several tackles,I'm glad he's looking into both schools, Tullahoma is a good school too, and need depth at running back but normally a passing team. They want a running game to open holes for the passing game, they also need a RB for their a11 offense they sometimes run. They played a very well coached and well rounded Blackman team. All teams from their district are stout. How fast is your son? How well is he doing right now? I know either way I will stand behind HIS decision. Coffee will have depth at RB for several years but could use a Nice speedy Fullback too, I think the rozier kid, #21 was playing fullback tonight, I'm sure your son, The Lyda kid and #21 would make a great backfield.

I did too, Blocking was key to the big runs, they open a hole and their backs would run through there REAL fast, was a good game in first half, 3rd really stunk

All I have to say is Shelbyville has some skill players, but too many miss tackles by Coffee that let them get in the secondary.

Good start for the rebels. Hope they continue the rest of the year.
