how much does it cost per ticket to get in?

Great game and victory for the Creek. I think this is what people expected. You guys need to put together a good stretch in the state tourney. Bring it home for the midstate this year.

This isn't going to be easy for CHS at all. CHS has to play perfect basketball (the kind they seen last night) in order to win. But AHS has to play total team basketball in order to really domintate this game or in the region. CHS has to take care of the basketball, turnovers killed them last night, I guess you can say that the guard play killed them last night. I didn't like the match up zone they played on defense. I saw AHS assist coach at the game last night scouting CHS and if they can get the same concept down that FHS had, plus the athletes that AHS has.........CHS is going to be in for another long night. Scales, McLemore, and Jones (Ty) have to play ball with controlled agression, attack but attack smart, Kelly and Harris are going to do what they do, but CHS's backcourt is going to have to step up big time.

It'll be interesting to see if the fast pace running teams are able to run certain teams out of the gym or will they be methodically picked apart by cuts, screens and backdoors. I think it will be fun to watch and see. McGavock, Whites Creek and Franklin look to be the favorites, but don't count out Antioch, if they get on a good streak they can make a run too. I just wish all the games were at one site, b/c I would like to see all of them!!! Good Luck to all teams that have made it to region!!!

Hey falcon9 or whatever. I haven't discredited anything he has done this year and I'm happy for him, but like I said earlier, this district has done anything until they make some noise in THE REGION, SUBSTATE AND STATE. I hope whoever is representing this district makes some noise when it matters. Good Luck to all the teams from this district next week!!!

Okay.....I'm gonna stand by my statement and say that he choked. As much talent as they had last year, there was no reason why FHS should have been in a situation to let the referee decide the game. I'm really happy for him that he was able to get his team back within 2 after being down by 16, hmmmm....why not be up by 16 to begin with. The way he managed the region game last year towards the last minute of the game was horrible. NOW, I'm glad that he was able to pull together a wonderful season this year since it was a rebuilding year, and I wish him the best of luck the rest of the way. I think that he has learned some things from last year. Good Luck to both teams tonight!!

I don't think CHS will go to far either, not with an eght man rotation. Those kids on the bench have to be dependable so that the coach will put them in the game thus making CHS deeper and a threat to do some real damage. Metro teams have a very deep bench and that's what makes them better than 11-aaa.

I don't know about a sweep, I guess the word "sweep" in my mind seems as though there was total domination. i think that 12-aaa will 2 out of the 4 region games on opening night but after that I think that it will be either McHS and WCHS coming out of the region. I agree that last yr's franklin team was 10 times better than what they had on the court this season. FHS matched up perfectly with the 12-aaa teams last year but the "ole ball coach" choked....let me change the wording on that......"the ole ball coach" didn't put together a good game plan and didn't the manage the game in a way to help franklin win last year. If FHS does something this year, my hat goes off to the coach. CHS has to play perfect basketball, starting tonight, to make a serious run in the region, but that may seem a bit much considering the guard play for them this season has been suspect. It will be very interesting!!!!

I tell you what........I'd rather win tonight and face Hunters Lane than lose tonight and face Antioch!!! I think the main thing is that this district has to make some noise in region play and sub-state play in order to be considered one of the top districts in the state. In a way, it makes Franklin's streak of 38 wins in district NOTHING considering the competition in the district. Good Luck to both teams tonight.

Does anyone know of any football clinics that will be in Tennessee this year, perferrably in the midstate area?

From what I hear, I think they are going to promote one of the coordinators from last year. I hope I'm not giving any old info.
