  1. I could have swore that the heading said where is Indy heading, Not where it has already been. I am amazed that every Indy thread always ends up talking about Scott Smith. The only people that get hurt by people constantly bringing up the past are the players of today.
  2. I have not read the article but I am guessing that the player in question is one of the Coffee kids. If this is the case then the dad, Otis Coffee is the SRO officer at Brentwood High School which makes it legal for them to attend.
  3. I hope only the best for IHS and coach Dyson. Are we really supposed to believe that this was not Todd Campbell and Kurt Jones plan from the very beginning? If you believe that this was a last resort then let me sell you some ocean front property in Thompsons Station At least it is done and now the boys can focus on getting ready for next year.
  4. You are correct in he was not forced to resign if you mean he was told either resign or you will be fired. If you feel this is the only way you can be forced out then you are incorrect. Being fairly close to the situation I know that there were other ways that he was forced to resign. You can hide behind saying he was not forced out if you want to but those of us close know better. As for the talent level the past two years you are right on target. There was no comparison between the past two years and three years ago in players.
  5. I agree with what you are saying but just to clear one thing up. Scott Smith did not take Indy to the playoffs. His final year they did go 7-3 in regular season but lost in tiebreaker rules and settled for a bowl game in which they lost to Overton. For the players sake I hope the administration does not drag this out much longer. You can not make up time missed in the weight room. This is the time they should be working hard. Not only do they not have a coach(leader) they do not even have a complete weight room. Someone had the bright idea of having the benches reworked in the middle of offseason workout time.
  6. You are a joke of a human being. Jason has more knowledge of football and more class in one finger than you will ever have in your whole body. As a supporter of IHS I tell you we do not need your kind nor want your kind around. Jason has decided to move on for what ever reason so why don't you do the same!
  7. The same place he has been for the last three games against Franklin--in the headlights. Trivia question: Who was the last Indy QB to put any points on the board against Franklin in the past two years? Little clue--his number wasn't 7 and he did put up 21 in a little more than a quarter but still wasn't considered good enough. Blind faith can kill you sometimes. It is amazing to all that you only come out of your hole when Indy loses. You know you may finally get your wish but it is not going to change the fact that your son lost his spot fair and square on the field of play. Get over it and move on. Obviously your son has.
  8. Exactly what does Indy not beating a single 6A district opponent have to do with this game. Last time I checked you do not get extra points or wins in the playoffs because you won district games. What Franklin gets is a home game and Indy gets to go on the road. The only stat that really means a darn thing is that we are both 1-0 going into Friday. Yes, Franklin can be beat. Can Indy do it? That remains to be seen. As a high school football fan this one should be a good game to attend. Here's to a dry, injury free game.
  9. yes you do have that right but does Paula agree that you can do it on her time.
