I'm wondering if that thin mountain air will have an effect on the Pirates. Maybe that's what it was at Grundy. But wait...didn't we stomp Grundy? Guess we can't put that mountain air into the formula. Pirates by four TD's if it doesn't rain. Two if it does.

There's been some talk on here about the boys watching the game films. But those of you who played must remember that game films were never intended to make the boys better....game films are for the coaches. The coach who can make better use of the films is usually the coach who will lead his team to victory, and coach Vic has a history of learning a lot from game films. Look for him to pull some tricks out of his bag.

Danny Wilson's defense will help us win this game. I think one of the reasons we got off to such slow starts against Grundy and Jasper is because our defense took a while to wear the opponents down, but they did wear them down, which gave our offense a boost.

Hi guys. Newby. I've been close enough to the Pirates this season to know that they have a burning desire to be as good as last year's bunch. This year's bunch looks up to last year's bunch. By playoff time the Pirates will be a mature well-oiled machine.
