Who will win this one tuesday night?

Scotts Hill makes the trip to Middleton tuesday night. This could decide the winner of the district even though it's both teams 2nd district game. The only other team that holds threat to winning the district is Adamsville who SHHS plays friday night at the hill. Who will win Middleton or Scotts Hill? I say Middleton has it because of speed and it being the first game back from break for SHHS. I wish we were playing at the Hill for this one!!

I think in Single A one of the best will be Scotts Hill. We have had the same team for the past three years. We competed with middleton who went to sub state and madison who went to the state finals last year. I think we will have a legitimate shot at going to state this year. Im defently not sayin we will. I'm just saying that if we play to our potential then we will have a good shot.

Who are the best teams in West TN?

I would like to think Scotts Hill will contend for a spot in state this year. We are returning 5 of our 7 top scorers which led our team to Sub State last year. 4 of the 5 started last year. We are a team with experience. We were a legit 3rd or 4th best team in state last year behind manassass, humboldt and then us or lake co. Unfortunately we dont play any legit competition before district. We can go inside or outside. The only bad thing is we dont have a true point guard so we will see how that works out when we play teams like Middleton in the district.

who is the other team besides middleton you think will have a go at state?

1. Middleton 2. Scotts Hill 3. Adamsville The other teams will be an even matchup for the fourth spot in my opinion. I am looking forward to when SHHS plays both of these teams. They both should be great games.

Scotts Hill only lost one player. He was a great PG but wasn't the best scorer around. His best games were against Adamsville but mainly he got the ball up the court and caused openings on the perimeter becuase of dribble penetration. Although we will miss that we can replace his scoring. We have alot of experience. All 5 starters are seniors and led this team to a Sub-state appearence last season. I expect for us to be the team to beat along with middleton but we won't be able to tell until later on in the season. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS THIS YEAR!!

True Jabriel is the fastest in a foot race but just with the basketball in his hand Larry Woodward was so quick with the ball and had so much control if I was able to pick between the two Larry would be my pick.

Who will be the early favorite to win the district this season??? Scotts Hill lost one great point guard who was probably the fastest player in the district last year and SG who when on fire was automatic. The SG is replaceable but I dont know about the PG. We have a lot of experience starting 5 seniors and 3 juniors will get a lot of playin time.

When the score got out of hand we worked on the running game because that was our weak point last year. We scored the touchdown if it was open but we never just kept throwing the ball in the third and fourth quarter last year. We also ran some different formations that we werent used to running so it was not like we just kept scoring at will we ran the ball and who can tell the runner not score if he has the chance and plus we took most of our key guys out after the first half if the game was out of hand. Now, back to this game I wouldnt overlook us too much! In my opinion it is gona be a 1 or 2 touchdown game. I think we have a shot. Is it gona take a complete game from all components for us to do so probably but I think we have a shot. I do not see a 40 point game in anybody's favor.

We played our starters until half and if the game was out of hand we took the main guys out but the whole point in us playing those JV games was to get experience so we might have gone a little higher on the points than we should have in some games and I mean some cause I remember watching a bunch of freshmen play the last quarter even sometimes the last two. The only reason though is it was our second year to ever have a football team. Most of the players on our team it was only their first or second year to ever play. Now in JV games we make sure everybody gets to play no matter if we are winning or losing. I DO NOT THINK IT IS SMART TO RUN UP THE SCORE EITHER CAUSE ALL THAT IS GOING TO DO IS LIKE YOU SAID MAKE ENEMIES! But let me stress it was just to give a lot of our main guys some experience before we threw them out in the Varsity games!

If I wasnt a big Scotts Hill fan I would defently be going to this game whenever yall play each other because it is going to be heck of a game.

I hate to say it but yall have a great chance of winning tomorrow it's gona take something special for us to pull off the win tomorrow but I wouldnt go making perdictions saying you are going to put up 40 on TCA and you are going to hold them to 120 yards of offense. It is gona be tough to stop Jabriel Washington and I have heard good things about Austin Whitsitt. If it comes down to a field goal Josh Lenoir has kicked a 40 plus yarder already this year so I think it will be a very good game and I cant call it this early because each team could suffer injuries that could change the outcome.

do you predict adamsville to score 40 plus every game cause thats what you have them scoring on us this week?

First of all I do not think yall are 40 plus points better than we are but if yall do get that far ahead then I would not be surprised to see the scoreboard ran up considering that most teams seemed pretty mad at us and said we ran up the scoreboard last year against the JV teams.

Does TCA still have that tall center from last year? Coach Patterson proved that he was a great coach when he took Madison to the state semifinals in like his first 3 or 4 years there. I think it will be very competitive this year between TCA, Adamsville, Scotts Hill, Madison ,and Middleton. A very good team out of our district will not make Regionals.

Scotts Hill no matter how much I hate to say it is gona be over matched in the majority of positions. It is gona take a our best game yet to win. Against Bruceton we had many careless penalties that we normally don't make. We cant do that against Adamsville. Our offense is based on passing but lately we have been running the ball well so Adamsville will have to choose which one to stop. In 3 of our 4 games our defense has allowed 13 points or fewer. I do realize that our schedule has not been that difficult but its gona take another good game on the defensive side for Scotts Hill to pull this one out. I hope this game is going to be closer than what you all are perdicting! GO LIONS!!

I am sorry that it sounded as if I was sayin that we were just defending cause we were not!! We were in the wrong as well. The reason why I didn't say anything about us smack talkin because I did not see but their probably was and that was wrong. The whole fight was unfortunate.

When Scotts Hill played PC we found out how fast yall were. You got a good QB and a great WR number 18. He is very quick. If I was PC I would defently be throwing it to #18 alot. Yall have a big LT so I doubt that anybody will be getting too many sacks on that side of the ball. Good luck to both teams.

We got 300 plus yards on the ground 400 plus overall and we are not a running team as you may know. Again I am not sayin Scotts Hill will win but I feel it will be closer than most people think. The same with TCA.

Who do yall think will be the early favorite in District 15-A? I dont know how much TCA lost this past season but since about 2005 they always bring a strong team. Madison lost Morgan Faulkner and Hope Patterson I dont know how many more. I normally say one player doesn't make the whole team but I do not know how they are going to replace Morgan. Adamsville again I don't know how much they lost but they tend to bring a strong team year in year out. Scotts Hill lost nobody. They return every player only one senior and a bunch juniors and sophomores. Riverside had a rebuilding year last year and I dont know how much better they will be. Middleton will be pretty strong if the past holds true. They always have a strong team.

true true we wont know what teams will really be like until the season starts but scotts hill has 6 returning players that all played a lot 5 of them started. They have 2 or 3 guys that got a little playin time during the season that will back. I look for them to be 7 or 8 deep of really good ball players unless any injuries happen. Our 5 startes are all seniors so we will be very experienced. We have a center that is 6''5 and 3 startes that in the 6''3 6''4 range and all are built. I am looking forward to the season!! There was a fight unfortunately. Middleton started shoving and punching. A couple of players from SHHS started swingin and then their bench cleared. Scotts Hill's bench started to go out on the field when a coach sent them back. No spectators from scotts hill side jumped the fence. Middleton's coach had to tackle on of their players to contain him. Scotts Hill had DT Johvanny Castanada ejected and they had two players. I cant remember there numbers or names.

From what I have heard yall do not quit. Yall go as hard as you can even with the score the way it was the past two games. Though I will be pulling for the Lions good things will happen if yall keep up the effort. Good luck and pick up your first win of the season next week.
