In response to GoingtoRightField: 4:00 Brentwood v Hillsboro 7:00 Franklin v Centennial Can someone explain the purpose of the district tournament? Doesn't your regular season record determine the winner of the district? Can the winner of the district (based on their season record) be eliminated in the district tournament from moving on to the Regional tournament?

Rumors were that Independence was looking to hire Webb from Franklin.

Arlington, like Millington, was the perfect host! Their volunteers were gracious, their facilities were amazing, and their BAND was fantastic! Arlington's band played songs that entertained us, like THRILLER (for those of you that don't know, that is a song performed by the late Michael Jackson in the 80s)! Indy players and coaches showed up to play ! That's the Indy team that I know and LOVE! Now, let the excitement subside, because Indy has a week to prepare for Franklin! Great game Indy! Congratulations! NOW, let's go get one from Franklin!

I have to agree with eaglesrock . . . Not only was their band playing while they had an injured player on the field of play, but the Franklin band director was dancing to "da da da da da da dum - jump on it". It's a shame that Indy doesn't have enough players that pour their heart blood and tears out for the team that the coaching staff can't make substitutions for those players that continually get flagged for penalties. I guess they don't want to pull their D1 prospects off the field of play ! [sarcasm] Congratulations Franklin! The best team won last night! Good Luck against Brentwood!

I have heard that def coord Jackie B has taken a "leave of absence" and that Coach Eubanks and Coach Gates will be calling the defense. Even with their starting quarterback out, I believe MBA wins. Prayers to Luke Colbert and his family.
