Chattanooga has a team Knoxville has a team Heard some rumors that memphis and nashville are not coming. Really hope this is not true, since both knoxville(2 teams) and Chattanooga drove to memphis last year. Hope they can pull something together.

What: This will be a great camp for all wrestlers who want to excel in the sport. All areas of wrestling will be touched from leg attacks, turns, bottom work and upper body throws. Who: All wrestlers K-5 When: July 6th - July 10th 9 a.m. - Noon Cost: $100.00 per athlete $75.00 if athlete pre-registers (You can pre-register by emailing me @ joshuabsken@yahoo.com and simply confirming that your child will be attendence) Where: Jones Wrestling Building in Cleveland Tenn I already have some tough youth kids from around the state confirmed. I am bringing a squad down...a little revenge from last year

First I want to say it was a fun weekend with Team TED, composed of a middle school AAU national champ, 3 state champs, 1 3X SC, 2 state finalist. Great Job to Derek and Caleb for bringing in some good competition. In the Watson vs. Dance Match it went three periods. 2-1 (dance) 4-1(Watson) 2-1(Dance) and watson was on a leg to win as time expired. Not bad for a kid who does not wrestle much freestyle, hopefully we can get him out to SE regionals and Fargo. Thanks to Cody Cleveland for coaching the team so I could sit back and watch from the stands.

Watson in the 119lb Sophmore finals

Aaron Lopez is now in the Semis. Having a good tournament so far. Pinned a kid from St. Eds first match. In the quarters was losing 3-2 to a PA kid and reversed him to his back and got the fall. Watson also won in the quarters and is in the semis.

What a group of studs. These kids wrestled all day Saturday at the State Tournament, jumped in the car and drove 3 hours to Birmingham to get the opportunity to get more matches against some of the best kids in the South. We ended up losing to the All Star Alabama Team by 2 points and got runner-up. 50lbs Hunter Noland(GA Stud) 55lbs Noah Horst State Champ, Undefeated at Dixies 60lbs Logan Whiteside 1-2 at dixies 65lbs James Hooper Great Kid,Tough as nails 70lbs Hudson Petty State Champ 75lbs Riley Westlake Undefeated at Dixies, Very Tough T- Town Boy 80lbs Mason Rineche Undefeated at Dixies. Have not been around Youth wrestling long, but this kid is the real deal. Soddy Karate at its finest 87lbs Christian Salter State Champ and Undefeated at Dixies, Fun kid to coach, Tough as nails 95lbs Cooper Lewis Bumped up all day at dixies and wrestled tough 103lbs Ryan Heath- State Champ 112lbs Michael Kramer State Champ Undefeated at Dixies 120lbs Seth Eachus Undefeated at Dixies Once again I want to thank these parents for giving me the opportunity to coach a great group of kids. The Dixie Duals for the Elementary kids are March 14th. This will be the day after the kids state tournament. All kids on the team will be allowed to use thier weigh ins from the state tournament to carry over. I am currently building the Intermediate team ONLY. The cut off year is 2000. Therefore any kid who wishes to compete mus be born in 2000 or younger. The following weights are still needed: All weight will receive an additional 2 lbs from the following. 70 75 87 95 103 112 120 140 The cost is $150 and this includes: Team Singlet Team Shirt Team Shorts Entry Fee Hotel Room I am really wanting to put on a good showing representing Tennessee well.
