I agree with everything you say up until when you make the statement that "everyone is getting really caught up on the Blance brothers." Ok well the reason why everyone is getting caught up on them is because they are that good. I watched the running backs from FRA and Davidson Academy and neither are in the same league as these two. And these two are in the backfield together which makes them that much harder to stop. I am not saying that St.George does not have speed on defense but what I am saying is that they have not played against two running backs that are even close to how fast and quick the Blance brothers are. From what I have seen, the Blance brothers are in a league of their own and they get stronger as the game goes on and most defenses get a lot weaker as the game goes on because they get hit by those pulling guards and tackles of Webb every play.

I wouldn't say that there is no way there will be a blow out...It could get ugly if St.George does not slow down the Blance brothers...St.George better have some speed on defense or it will definitely be a blow out

Like I have said in the other two playoff games that Webb has played in this year, the Blance brothers are the difference. I am sure St. George has some good lineman but so does Webb with some mean defensive ends in Kelly Thomas and Mr. Football finalist Hunter Little. Also, both teams are very well coached. So it is going to come down to whether St. George has the speed on defense to slow down the running attack of the Spartans. No team has stopped them all year and we will see if St. George can do it on December 2nd.

I'll go with Webb 28 ECS 17 Just think the Blance brothers will be too much for the ECS defense.

Well we got the same matchup as last years semifinal except its at the Spartans home this year. Last year, ECS and Webb were the best two teams in Division II-A no doubt and it was disappointing that the two did not meet in the State Championship. However, there semifinal game was a great game and this year ECS will be coming to Knoxville with revenge on their minds. ECS's stud player was there QB last year but was injured and has comeback as a wide receiver this year. He is a playmaker and is the difference maker for ECS. The Spartans have their ground attack lead by the Blance brothers who have yet to be stopped all year. This one should be fun to watch. Any thoughts on the game?

Looks like I nailed that prediction lol....USJ had some tough running backs and their QB played a lot better then he did last year in the State Championship. However, Webb just wore them out and by the end of the 3rd quarter USJ was just sick of getting hit and trying to tackle the Blance brothers. Another great win for the Spartans...As long as the Blance brothers stay healthy, this team is going to be hard to beat, especially at Faust Field. Looks like ECS, another team with revenge on their minds, is going to be coming to Faust Field trying to knock off the Spartans.

Webb has the talent level second to none in all of DII. They have very fast backs and a great QB with a young and fast defense. They might couldn't beat those big teams week in and week out but they could compete with the best team in DII-AA if not beat them...They just don't have the numbers to do it week in and week out.

Webb 42 USJ 14 I don't believe that the USJ defense, that got scorched last year in the State Championship, can stop Webb. USJ didn't stop the Blance brothers last year and I don't see them even slowing them down this year. They are just too fast. If they do put 9 or 10 in the box then Wormsley will go over the top.

This game is really looking like it will be a very good game. The speed of the webb spartans against the spread attack of USJ is going to be a great matchup. The spartans are used to this game, they will be playing in this game for the 3rd time out of the past 5 years, and are looking to win their second state championship in the past 5 years therefore experience could play a factor in this one.

I dont know much about St. George since they are so far away.. but i do not think they will be able to handle Webb's overall team speed. Webb is one of the fastest teams in the state and will use it to their advantage friday night for a victory.

Like i said before this is gonna be a good game... but the spartans are gonna come to play when the lights come on friday night i can guarantee you that.

This game will be another classic webb-catholic game. It will come down to the fourth quarter just like always. I believe the spartans will come out with this one especially if they can take care of some players that have minor injuries. Webb's defense is just so fast and physical.

I am pretty sure it is just a sprained ankle.. not too serious... i see him sitting out this week and will be back next week for the big game.
