Came back to read how these Rebs are doing. It is always interesting to see how an opponent does the balance of the season after playing the Owls. Congrats to the Rebs on some good play. I felt that we saw a young team that played pretty well against a better team. Maybe we will see you again down the road, who knows?? Reading the past posts I see ole Wilco stirring up trouble lol. I halfway thought one of the running backs was his son but I suspect he has a young'un on the team and is enjoying pontificating on his football prowess lolol. You fellas are doing something right over there. You have an undersized defense, a young QB, inexperienced receivers and a young O line yet you have only lost to the No. 1 ranked team in the state. I would say there a lot of schools in TN that would love to have your staff lolol. I have to say that Wilco's comment about running against 8 in the box makes me think that he is Barry Switzer from the old OU days or maybe even Tom Osborne from the Cornhuskers lol. I have another of my teams that does excel in the run and has the No. 1 rusher in the SEC averaging around 10 yards a carry yet we all know unless our QB starts spreading the field, we are looking at a 4-8 season at best. Oh well, good luck Rebs..stay the course and keep posting "Coach Wilco". You make these posts fun to read. And....Go Vols!

Huh? The running game works because of the passing game and vice versa. Unfortunately, FHS has a young QB which means opposing teams are gonna stuff the box. Until the pass works and FHS can present a balanced attack, opponents will be setting up camp between the ends. As for as coaching, I give kudos for them working on the passing game against a nonconference opponent who would give them a stern test. Geesh, they lost by a couple of TDs to the 2nd ranked team in the state on the road.
