  1. its crazy what yu can do when you try. Big boys im talkin to you
  2. yor callin me a catholic parent? i am insulted
  3. I'd say they have too many people ready to get to college. Their best players have been non factors as the losses have piled on. Good team discipline boys
  4. Wait a Minute! Not so fast! Befoe you go blamin this whole thing on Meadows, I'd take a deep look at the effort put forth on the field tonight. Sure 16-13 at half, same old same old. We all know Catholic is gonna to be winning at the half! Farragut, Maryville, and Bearden (the big 3) have all been losin at half to KC. It's as predictable as where the sun sets. This time however, I felt embarased for them boys. Williamson may be a good QB but he had his worst game tonight (at least I hope for his sake it was) He coulnt hit his recievers wher they needed to be. He never could tuck it and run and he had to uv thrown 5 passes into the ground. Bad QB play for someone as "great" as he is. An that O-line was horrendous. HORRENDOUS. 77 is just fat and slow. There was no explosion after the half (which playin both sides will do that to ya) and I don kno if they even wanted to play football. You could jus tell that half of the team had already quit when they got down by 12. Boys thas not how you win championships. We learned that last year over at FHS. Divided you stand together ya fall, thats what its like if yo gonna play like that. Pemberton would have the boys whipped into shape and I'd take any of the Catholic teams that beat my falcons the past couple years over this joke of a team. Where's your Catholic arrogance now?
  5. I mean I don't know. Sure i just get on here to trash catholic, but take something out of it. I do offer some positive criticism What is the D-Line doing that far back? They did nothing but get their butts moved over. They didn't attack-they looked weak and lazy. big 77 could barely keep his breathe-too slow and missed assignments on O too. Their lineman are somewhat fat. I mean fat is good for a linemen but not when it slows them down that much. The Webb d was overwhelmingly fast for the tired catholic line. seemed like someone was after williamson all night. Fumbles and dropped passes killed catholic. A dropped pass in the end zone which hit the recievers hands should have been a sure catch. And i think the same receiver fumbled one later on which hurt. The Webb D just played hard against a catholic O that is underacheiving. Just look at those athletes. Cozart was pretty good in my mind and then on the second possesion he broke that one run. WOW good back. Williamson is pretty good-he plays hard (like jumping the boy) but he just stands motionless in pocket. when i say motionless, i mean MOTIONLESS. facing the fast webb D against overweight and tired lineman caused him to get pressure so quick he couldn't move which maybe if he was moving a little could have happened. Mackle is a good player but didn't have many chances to prove it. Irish425 or whatever-the safeties more than matched up with the subpar wide receivers. Williamson didn't have a chance throwing long all night and he didn't for the most part. Tre waters was good. Very good. Give him the player of the game. He had a ton of tackles. A disappointing game to go to. I thought it would be closer. My 2 cents (and i tried not to be so condemning like last time)
  6. After watching the Pemberton boys for the past 5 years, it's evident this team is not the same in terms of discipline. I could not agree more with you willy1. I went to the AE game the other night just of curiosity since im a fulton man, but they were disappointing. Williamson is a good QB and safety, but presses too hard and tries to make too many plays at times. Cozart is a good player, finds the holes, but just can't break that last tackle or juke that last man. Tait is big, maybe even too big. He isn't the disruptive force he once was. Mackle is solid. Shirley is a good tough yardage back and an alright linebacker. They do make bad reads especially to the outside run... kickoffs and punt returns looked bad when the kickers didn't kick it out of the endzone. Mishu looks good. They are not the team of the past. The discipline is not there, they get unsportsman like conducts left and right, go in for the big hits and don't wrap up, and overall, they don't know the spread offense. They don't mesh. The wide recievers have never been demanded to be a prime force until this year. The offensive line looks new to pass blocking. The run blocking is okay but they aren't as fast down field as they used to be. They block the wrong people sometimes and get pushed out of the way by an above average DL/LB. When they learn to play as a team, pick up their assignments, commit to no penalties, and play as a group this is a force to be recognized. Until then they are beatable. The 3-5 is not a good look for them. They don't get the penetration of the old 5-2 and running the ball is a lot easier than it was on the old irish D. 1 safety over the top is bad news. The line backers do make bad reads and the ends cannot contain the end like they should. Just my 2 cents Good luck friday to all.
