With all the 53 -0 half time predictions and such, I think Milan needs to be playing the steelers this weekend instead of a High School from up in little ole poor Fentress County...lol......... I think Milan will pull this one out but not like these folks are bragging about.... I will be sure & check back next week to hear what predictions Milan has for the F5 ( that is if they survive York)....... I bet there's a whole different attitude toward the score & opposition next Saturday morning..... Alcoa will be the one scoring what they want at the half.......LMFAO

I hope people don't take what I wrote earlier & think I was saying Sequatchie can beat Alcoa, What I said was they would sure know we were there, it truely don't think it would be a blowout mercy rule game but head to head, yes would would get beat by Alcoa. I think some Central fans might be in for a little suprise this friday, these kids are ready to play friday night & like I said earlier, Coach Barger & our Indians WILL NOT LAY DOWN FOR AYNBODY!!! If you beat us you will earn it just ask the people that have beat us this year. I hope we get through this game injury free & I hope we have a good run in the playoff's as this community is ready for that. Central has probally played tougher opponets but only because of how weak Notre Dame, & Christian are this year. I look foward to friday night & say my indians come home with a big upset in true Purple & Gold Fashion!

I see my reply's got removed, & for whatever reason I must have been in the wrong & I apoligize. I want everyone to know I am a true Sequatchie County Indian, born here, raised here & so are my Kids. My Boys play for the little leauge team & I would never do anything intentionally to HURT SEQUATCHIE FOOTBALL. If you have lived here for a while you know what our program fell to before Barger came, but guess what? "WERE BACK BABY", I am very, very proud of the fact that Coach Barger has us back to what we was when I played ball & that is contending for the district Championship each & every year. As for my comments about some Bledsoe people, true as they were I can see whaere some might say innoproperiate but that's just the whole Pikeville vs Dunlap rivalry, if Bledsoe don't get you blood pumpin, chances are your a move in...lol.... As for Friday night, I believe we can & WILL play with anyone in the state & we will show this friday night. Do I think we can line up & beat Alcoa???????? Well I am not going to answer that but I do believe Alcoa would know they were in a 12 ROUND HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT if we play them as our kids don't lay down for anyone!!!!! Sequatchie 31 McMinn 14

Just to let you know, I think what I said is the way this game goes. I can not stand Bledsoe & any True Indian Player who has ever PLAYED should feel the same deep down. As for this week I say we are as physical as any team ( besides Alcoa) they have played, if we lace them pads up real good & tight, tighten them chin straps up real tight & play Indian football, bust them in the mouth & take what is rightfully ours..... & Weather or not you think we can I say we WILL by 17!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree we should be 9-0, I went & watched Bledsoe friday night & they looked like Pikeville always looks except when we play them. Rockwood is a small 1-A school & Pikeville couldn't do nothing with them. I just hate we had all them turnovers & the ref's clearly called the game for Pikeville to win. We should have beat Signal as well. We have man handled every team we have played except Chatt Central & we could have won that game. I don't see McMinn giving us alot of trouble, I just hope somewhere in the playoff's we get to kick Bledsoe's Butt along the way as that game really sticks in my crawl. & it sticks alot deeper after seeing the real Bledsoe we all know & hate so dearly play friday night. If we get to play them again we will beat them by 4 scores, I honestly think we a a 4 touchdown better team than Bledsoe is! I say we beat McMinn Central by 17 friday night. Go Sequatchie!!!!!!!

We are alot better team than our record shows, I stand behind coach Barger & our staff 100%. I think we should have done a few things different but that's why they pay HIM to coach not me. I still think we are a better team than Pikeville but when we lined'em up & got it on they came out on top. We couldn't stopp 22 on the passing routes in the 2nd half & 80 killed us until we kicked away from him. We diffently need to practice some ball handling drills this week as no team can turn the ball over as much as we did & expect to win ( except pikeville....lol) I guess I have some crow to eat, but watch out big blue as we might just meet up again in Nov. and I am certain Barger will have his boys ready to step up to the plate for round 2!!!! Well it'f finally Friday & I can't wait until 7:00 tonite. I don't think I have been this excited about a Sequatchie/Bledsoe game sine our 56-0 Trashing of you idiots in 2000. I don't see us beating you that bad tonite, but tonite's game will not be close by no means. After going into town this morning & eating breakfast, talking to all the old sports guys I think we are going to see a pretty good whoopin'. Mr. Layne said he thought this team was as talented as the Trent Young Teams in the late 80's & early 90's. I think Brandon has a big game & we roll all over Pikeville early, I think we are WAY TO PHYSICAL for bledsoe as well. Our Team speed will play a big part & the play calling of our coaches againsed there coaches is our biggest advantage. When I look at both coaching staff's sequatchie wins that battle hands down as well, so I stand behind my earlier prediction of 35-7 Good Guys!!!!!!

#32 I admire your confidence but I really don't seeing the Chief leaving Dunlap for several years , I just hope your heart ain't set on a win, because when the Indians get done friday night there going to be alot of broken blue & gold hearts. You can tell you never bled on the fields up & down this valley if you are only a enemy of Pikeville this week, I am there enemy every week, just like Brandon said " Scott it's Pikeville "IF" they could be us by 4 TD's they would because there punks from Pikeville, now it's our time to shine so were going to put up the big numbers on them because it's homecomming, & just plain & simply because were that much better than them & because we can! He also said it was his Senior Year & there was no Way it was going to be close. I asked him about #32, he said we had a big suprise for ole Superstar, not to expect much from him "

Isn't he the big bruiser that hadf first & less than a yard to paydirt last year & choked back to a 2nd down & 5 to go which led to no points for the mighty wooriors? If this #32 is the one your refering to we ain't got nothing to be worried about. When you can't get a foot for a go ahead touchdown at home in a Bledsoe vs Sequatchie game you have no heart & you have no pride in your county. I hope someone else is wearing that jersey if were supposed to be worried I am looking foward to a awsome homecoming crowd to watch Sequatchie steamroll Pikeville. As for the crow, I don't believe I'll be eating none & I'm willing to put the green stamps up to prove it my friend ..... This is going to be one of those games that these boys get to tell there kids about in a few years, like we do the 1990 game when we could have put 100 on you if Coach would have let us .

I can't believe that I am sitting here reading people from Sequatchie County saying "IF" we do this or "IF" we don't do that. Folks here it is laid out on a silver platter for you. Bledsoe County's O-Line can not began to control our Defensive Front, & there main back Brown is slow, I know I read a 4.7 on here but that goes about as far as me running a 4.7, I seen the kid at Marion & he is a big stout kid but he is slow compaired to our backs. 22 for them isn't a good back, he is quick but always goes down on the first hit as he can't take it. Sequatchie County is going to come out on the field, button there chin strap's up & bust Pikeville's dang mouth no if's, and's or but's about it.. Sequatchie is alot better team than Pikeville & our kids know this, it will show on friday night. Pikeville's kids are not as strong, or as fast as ours are & they sure didn't play with any pride againsed Marion like our boys did, the score when Pikeville played Marion could have been twice what it was if Marion wanted to run it up on them I was there & watched it. So please quit all these if's and but's Show our kids you believe in them as much as they believe in themselves. Talk to these players & ask them what they think about friday night, Brandon told me they was going to thrash Pikeville by 4 scores & I don't think he meant Field goals either & I stand behind him until Real & the wooriors prove they can beat someone besides coalfield & notre dame. We have dominated Bledsoe for years, these kids growed up watching us beat Pikeville, & pikeville's kids growed up watching us thrash there wooriors nearly every year, there used to loosing to us & were used to keeping the stump here in Dunlap where it belongs, & I sure don't think the stump has any travel plans this year either

Bledsoebtheboys, I'll have 2 of whatever your a drinking, there is no way a Bledsoe Team that hasn't played anyboday but Marion, & lost that game, has a chance againsed coach Barger & our mighty Indians in Dunlap. Sequatchie WILL WIN OUT THE REST OF THIS YEAR, you can count on it. I talked with a certain player last night at the store & he said we would hand bledsoe a 4 score loss & I don't see it going any other way. I think you pikeville guys are riding way to high on your blue horse for the people you woorriors have beat. You will see when you cross the county line on 127, " WE AIN'T MIDWAY OR COALFIELD, WE ARE SEQUATCHIE COUNTY!!!"

Well I hope all you Pikeville Warriors believe that BS about the 4.7 & all that speed, because it wasn't on the field the night you played Marion. I just don't want to get on here Saturday Morning & hear all the excuses when you roll into Dunlap a smiling & waving them dang ugly blue pom pom's & leave with your head hung low and your hearts broken, because Sequatchie is back my friend, were playing as a team, we have one of, if not "THE" best coaching staff's in School history & our kids are on our way to a District Championship, & Bledsoe is just a bump in our Road to what we want. & you know what you do to bump's don't ya?????????? You mash'em Just wait until friday & your Big Bad Warriors will be a smear in the Indians road to our District Championship!!!!!!

We went and watched Marion & Bledsoe the night we played Central at Finley and Marion walked all over Pikeville. I got a program and in the 3rd quarter about every Sub was a fresh/Soph & the younger Marion kids handled Bledsoe. Pikeville hasn't played anyone worth a dang except Marion & the game was alot worse that the scoreboard showed ( proballly 21 points worse in my opinion). Pikeville's O-Line hasn't got a kid that would start here in Dunlap so we will get plenty of penetration, there Big back ( #32 I Think) is a big stout looking kid, but he is slow & doesn't run with the attitude he should. I think there QB is there best player & the only weapon they really have, if our secondary can control there recievers, I know our D-Line can handle there running game & the way Marion's offense looked againsed there defense I don't see Wilson having anyproblems doing what ever coach Barger puts in to him. One last advantage we have & it's the biggest of all is Coach Barger, he has had these kids in the weight room & has them in shape and it shows on the field, this will be the ultimate edge we have that breaks Pikeville down, there kids were winded againsed Jasper & didn't look strong to me as Jasper pushed them all over the field, ( even the fresh/soph) My hat's off to Coach Barger for the preparation his teams have showed this year, keep up the good work coach, I am really looking foward to a homecomming/District win over Pikeville. Homecomming wins are sweet, but homecomming wins over Bledsoe are priceless!!!!!!!

I don't see anyone else on the schedule that can go toe to toe with the Team that played on the field last night, This is the best Sequatchie County has looked in 10 years or so. Bledsoe is next & I don't see them even scoring againsed our defense if we play like we did last night. Folks we are for real & that showed last night, I am once again proud to be a Sequatchie County Indian & I can't wait for my Boys to play for Coach Barger & the Indians. We are a very discplined team & very well coached, I went with my brother to watch Bledsoe play Marion a few weeks back because we were playing in Chattanooga at Finley Stadium that night, Marion did not play very well that night & came away with the easy victory playing alot of underclassmen very early in the game & they stood toe to toe with Pikeville. I say 28-0 next friday night, Go Indians!!!!!!!

I found out about this site last night at the Game, I was a freshman on the last team to beat Marion & last night was 19 years of fustration relieved for me personally. Coach Barger has brought Sequatchie back to respectability to the Days of Coch Fritts. I can't wait to see Bledsoe get there's friday night, whata 8 day stretch this is going to be for a true Indian, Beating Marion for the first time since I was a freshman, & going to kill a very overrated Bledsoe Team next friday night, Thanks Coach Barger for Restoring Sequatchie Co. football back to it's rightful place atop the Valley's elite... Good luck Indians & we hope to see ya'll at the thrashing this comming friday night.
