  1. I would have to say until you see this Wing T in action at LCHS I wouldn't say other teams run it better. Come take a look for yourself and then make that decision. I think Lawrence County is in trouble Kind of like Bartlett??

  3. He's seen Millington in person and he's seen film on LCHS. I would have to say from watching LCHS play this year that I would hate to see a team run this Wing T any better! This has been their bread and butter and they run it extrememly well! I am not sure about the passing game because if I had an O'line like they have and backs that run like they do, why pass! The only time the ball would go in the air would be if I was behind late in the 4th quarter! I do not know what Craigmont has and not sure what style offense they run but they had better be ready for some power football. I have read where they have some very good DB's. Would anyone care to talk a little more in depth as to what Craigmont has on offense and defense. They appear to have some good size up front but do these guys have to go both ways? Will they be able to play hard for 4 quarters? Any info would be great. Trying to figure out the best game to see on Friday night! This appears to be the best matchup in the state but I am just not sure.
  4. GoChiefs, I was just wondering how you know what offense LCHS runs and expecially how you got your information on them not running it as effectively as Millington? I watch many games around middle TN but don't get to travel west much to catch games. Have you seen Lawrence County play this year? Just wondering how you came up with this statement? So how many points will the mighty Craigmont Chiefs beat LCHS by? You seem to have a pretty good knowledge of both teams!
  5. The issue is Columbia is not happy with a #2 seed and they really shouldn't even be in 5a. Play the game!!
  6. Thanks Randy........you do a great job on here! If you find out anything else please make a new post!
  7. Randy I am not sure but the site says copright 2009. This is very confusing to me! There are schools with much less students than other playing 6a when they should be in another class. Besides enrollement what other factors plays into this? If these are this years numbers it makes sense, TSSAA classifies based on the PREVIOUS years enrollment. So unless Childress comes up with some new system them Columbia will be where they are supposed to be, 6A. Can't wait to see the puppy dog tears then!!
  8. Take your anger out on Columbia if they make it to yall! They are the ones that got it changed. They have an inside track to Childress since he is a hometown boy!!

  10. I have added a list of TN schools and their enrollement and I find it strange that Columbia has an enrollment of 1553 students and in my opinion should be a Class 6 school and they are the ones screaming the loudest because they didn't get they seed they thought they should have. Does Columbia think because the director of the TSSAA is from Columbia they should get a cakewalk to the finals? There are other schools that should be complaining about what class they are in. Look at the number of students and classes and tell us what schools should be complaining the most! 21) Siegel High School - Murfreesboro, TN - Total Enrollment: 1805 22) Ooltewah High School - Ooltewah, TN - 11. I have not heard this morning but last night I did hear someone say in the 4th quarter that everything seem to look positive. I do hope everything turns out OK. Sorry T'town didn't get a playoff spot.
  12. Someone grab a tissue!! Would you rather play a 7-3 Craigmont team from Memphis or a 3-7 Cleavland team? Good grief
  13. LCHS totally DOMINATED Tullahoma tonight! That is all that I can say. Good luck in the playoffs!!
  14. If Anderson County wins, that will push either CLinton or Knox Cath into Quad 1. This doens't look right to me but yo never know. I really don't think there will be 4 wildcard teams in POD3. This may be the case but if this happens it would surprise me. POD4 looks suspect also. If Hardin County looses as it appears you have it then they will be lower than what you have here. I see them being the #6 or #7 team. Lawrence county will also be a stretch at the #2 spot here and I am not convinced they will be in this Pod at all. If travel and $$'s come into this then I see LCHS/Hardin facing each other in first round. Just my thoughts and I am not downing anything you have here. It looks like you put some thought into it!
  15. Henry Co. is in the right class for their enrollment and should be in 5a! Please know what you're talking about before spouting off and looking like a fool! Easy on the name calling! I couldn't help myself to look and see if I could find enrollements for schools in TN. I found some pretty interesting numbers when I went looking. This site shows every schools numbers and I am really confused now on how this classification thing works. Here is the site:http://high-schools.com/report/tn/public-school-enrollment-rank-in-tennessee.html. With these numbers it looks as if some 6A schools should be 5A and some 5A schools should be 6A. Columbia and Frankin County really stood out. Could someone explain how classification works? Please!!
  16. That's the whole point! I really don't have a gut feeling about this one. Mainly because I don't know much about LC. I do believe it will be another close one. Our defense played very well against Siegel. If you take away one big play and/or one short field, we win. I see that you have 3 RB's in the top 6 in the district. (From district8aaa.com) If you have a game breaker like Howse(Siegel) or Martin(FC), I would have to say advantage LC. If they are all power runners, then I think the game boils down to ball control & field position. We have a game breaker ourselves in Zach Bryson. If he can hit the corner and if we can give him the holes, he could be a difference maker. As far as the QB situation is concerned, "It's up in the air." (Pun intended) Regardless of who is at QB, if we don't win the battle up front, it could be a long night. I watched the Siegel game and really thought T'town played much better than the game I saw them play against Shelbyville. The O'line had been had at work, with a few exceptions that almost got a QB killed, and played pretty well. Actually I thought the big plays that kept it close were for yall. The fake punts is what I am talking about. As for the RB's for LCHS, I would say there is a mixture of power and speed. I won't go into the details just yet; I will let you tell us which ones are which Saturday! I will say that all four backs are extremely talented and lets not forget the QB either! They all like to run the ball and I would too if I had an O'line like the one they are lining up behind! The Bryson kid is also a great back and makes great cuts and reads. The rain could actually give LCHS an advantage due to the fact that they are almost always running downhill. Lets not forget about tradition; T'town has owned LCHS over the years and this has to be in at least the coaches minds! The past games have not been blowouts but they have also not been wins. I do believe this LCHS team has a "SWAGGER" that I have never seen before and I believe they come in with their Senior leadership and win this game. Another bold prediction, Widcats 34-7! And that will be the cats in PURPLE AND GOLD!
  17. Not very bold considering they are both the "WILDCATS"! I could even make that statement and be right!! That's the whole point! Well, I have been waiting to hear from you! I knew you couldn't leave that one alone. How do you think the game will turn out? Don't give us how you want it to turn out but how you really think. How is the QB situation going to be? Looks like it will be raining so the team that runs the ball the best should have a huge advantage. I think the Wildcats wearing purple with win this one. Now your turn Debowsdad.
  18. Not very bold considering they are both the "WILDCATS"! I could even make that statement and be right!!
  19. Slapper.......Looks like you keep talking to yourself so I thought I would reply to you. I guess you are a Northside fan and I have only seen Hardin one time but I will try to get into this with you. For starters, Hardin will be no pushover for you. They have a pretty good team and will probably be even better when the QB comes back. Their defense is the heart of their team and runs to the ball really well. The middle of the D is where they are extremely strong. Not sure about the pass defense since I have not seen that. Well at least now you are not talking to yourself now!
  20. Slapper.......If this quad is correct then this is where the LCHS/Hardin matchup comes from. Simple if this is the way it works out. Now do you see why this has been talked about. I also agree that this would be a "SUPER" quad! Could be some battles being played here. Quad 1 would also be very good too!
  21. Yes the road could have been better but at least it will be nice soon! As far as #77, I noticed he started as #71 until his jersey got ripped off. Maybe some holding? He is a very good player and from what I have seen he has D1 talent! I am not close enough to the team to go much further than giving his name. Charles Sweetan is his name and I may have have the last name misspelled. That whole line is very athletic and is fun to watch. They have 3 seniors and two juniors starting. The game this week will be huge. T'town will be no push over and really has LCHS's number. LCHS has only beat them 1 time since '86. This will be the game I will be attending this week but Hardin and North runs a close second. Good luck to your team as well and hopefully these two teams will meet again in the near future. Hardin is a class act and is a well disciplined team!
  22. Insight you seem to have! That is the reason I am talking back to you. I am sure LCHS won't be looking for any gold ball. This team seems to down to earth and focused. They have good coaching and senior leadership that helps also. Hardin County is in a bad location for scheduling. I have looked at the schedule and I see why they play a weak schedule. They are not close to anyone and would have to travel too far to play any real talent. Maybe LCHS and HC will start playing each other every year. That would be a treat. Hardin County played well in the first half but just got winded and LCHS just seemed like a fresh team. LCHS doesn't have many players that go both ways like Hardin did. The Hardin team still had starters going late in fourth quarter and was so tired the LCHS second team was moving the ball against them. Good luck with Northside and we will be watching and waiting till Saturday!!
