I watched SD/Gibbs on TV last week, and that SD RB is lights out. He's as quick as Graham is for OR. SD is peaking at the right time. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't win, and I also wouldn't be surprised if they win if they don't give Farragut or Ooltewah a pretty tough game. Don't let their record fool ya. They're hot right now.

He should feel privileged as all get out to wear Reb Ron's former #. TD ranks right up there with some of the best LB's I have ever seen at this level, and I've seen some great ones. Brad Redmond from OR, and a few from them great Riverdale teams of the 90's are right up there as well. Wished I could remember their names, but I can't.

More than likely not, but you never know. I watched SD on TV last week and they have a RB that's as quick as anybody I have seen this year, including our lil RB Graham. Not saying they will even beat Mo West, but they're peaking at the right time. Clark Duncan is a really good Coach. Whoever plays them between Da Owls (as PA says) or Gutts will have to play a darn good game to beat 'em. They have to get by West first though obviously.

No Courtland was on the 90 91 Central teams. If i remember correctly Kirkland shared time@ RB with Bayless. Lots of time has elapsed since then though. Yes Helton was an awesome Safety. Him and Billy King were a great tandem. One of the greatest collisions I've ever seen was Shawn Summers and King meeting head on at the goal line. Like 2 trucks colliding.

I remember that time I threw a tantrum when I was younger in a baseball game, and boy did my dad let me have it afterwards. I wish I could've said to him, "But its just my love of the game that I acted that way daddy". Lol I was 13 years old. Sorry PA, but I can't agree with you on this one. There's absolutely no excuse for a kid to act the way he did. I would be embarrassed as he&* if my kid acted that way. You have to teach kids at an early age that sometimes life just doesn't go the way you want it to. As my dad would say "Suck it up, grab your nu^& & lick your lips & get on with it". Lol

Holy crap could he ever move! Me and my dad still talk about that guy! He just wore out our defense. I think he was a bigger factor in them beating us than Buchanan was, and Buchanan was great in his own right, but that FB was a friggin' truck. BTW that Central team was downright awesome as well. Kippy Bayless, Courtland Styles, and of course the great Helton just to name a few. Still haven't seen a better QB at the HS level in TN.

Man, that team was something special. I watched them dismantle us 26-13 in 1990. Do any of y'all remember that Fullback they had? He was like a huge low centered bowling ball. A wrecking ball! Man, he was hard to bring down. Kelly H went on to have a good career in the NFL. LC has gone to nothing since those great teams they had in the early 90's.

Painting a rather broad brush there. I respect the heck out of them. We are 3-4 against them since 2013, and I thought Ooltewah and Rhea would've whooped us if we had of played them. I respect every team we play.

That was pretty awesome WW and so true! I love our tradition in basketball! It's pretty rich! Close to 30 trips to the state tourney.

The Gutts are pretty young too, so they will be good the next few years although they lose the QB and that tough RB #1.

While he looks to be great, I could've ran through some of those holes. Looked like the Red Sea parting. He probably could've gotten through a few of those in a wheelchair.
