Stone Memorial plays very hard. I have only seen them play twice but both times they flat out hustled. Number 20 never slows down and plays with a lot of heart and #50 must average 20 offensive boards a game. Even though they are in Fulton's bracket they have the intangibles to beat any of these teams. It seems to be a well run program.

Coach P... I don't know if you read boards like this but in case you do...You did the right thing and the people that matter know it. Throw a game...what a joke. They have never competed with you. Keep on teaching those kids how to hoop and how to play this crazy game of life. GP is lucky to have you. Now quit reading these crazy boards and go get them tornadoes!!!

I keep hearing and reading about the sprinklers being on at GP against AE. For one there are no sprinklers at GP. The problem is that about 6 to 8 feet below the playing surface solid clay exists. The field can only take so much water before it has nowhere to go. The clay is completely non pourous. It fills up like a swimming pool. You can verify this by the stinch of the mud. It is soured water that has been accumulating with every rain. Obviously with a team as quick as AE the mud didn't hurt GP's chances but it wasn't by choice they played in that slop.

94 yard 19 play 4 3rd down conversion 4th quarter game winning drive. GP wins 14-11. Has to be one of the best 4th quarter drives in GP football ever. 12 seconds left in regulation and GP is forced to punt. Sophmore punter kicks a 65 yarder to the 5. Game over. Great win for Highlanders.
