I seen in the paper where Union County beat Gibbs 76-70 at Gibbs lastnight. That means that Union County swept Gibbs this season. Very tough District

Tyler Vittetoe won player of the week for the Prep Extra Knoxville Area. Congrats to him and Good Luck to the Patriots this weekend. I have heard that his recruiting has picked up alot since his 30pts vs Fulton the first game. I think he is a Low Major to High D2 player. Carson Newman and Tusculum should both take him quickly, because he is getting better every game i have heard.

MMcCroskey, I was there and I totally agree with you. The TSSAA should take a look at the film and hold the officials accountable. Both teams played extremely hard in spite of the whistle. There were 42 fouls called and who knows how many phantom walks, double dribbles, charges, nickel dimers etc. What a circus!

No one is irreplaceable - this is a life lesson you'll learn someday LoveGuru. Just my opinion, but I think the biggest factor to the slow start was the team's struggle shooting the basketball and adjusting to new roles as compared to last season. Just a side note - Union has won 6 out of 7 since junior guard Brad Baker's return from injury early on (the only loss being to Fulton). Questionable hire? Yeah, I guess hiring a coach with 10 years of COLLEGE coaching experience and years of basketball experience in the hoops crazy state of Indiana is more questionable than hiring a former girls AAU and elementary school coach. FWIW, I think everyone was very pleased with the success of the team last year at Union County. The team had a great season.

I think Vittetoe from Union County is in the top 5 after his 30 points vs Fulton.

Has anyone heard where he has signed or who all is recruiting him. Ive heard that Tusculum and Morehead State and Middle Tenn are the front runners at this time. He is one of the best scorers in the state and I was shocked that he wasnt listed in the Knoxville Prep Extra 1st Team all area.
