  1. Well Webster record vs big 3 is 4 w. And 12 losses I think and before he became coach since 91 h20 was o and 30 so the good ole days weren't that good either and didn't h20 get beat by 65 to 0 vs tchs in 90. And while h20 has talent in the skill they still and have never had good line
  2. In 14 years all of those kids from gville will still be playing and only 6 of the h20 kids will be left. Reasons vary I'm sure but I looked at gville roster 22 seniors and h20 has 8 and 2 are transfers and 1 first year playing. Granted that coaching could be an issue but retaining players could be another problem.
  3. I'm not sure what tent you are referring to me getting out of, and if I'm not mistaken the coaching staff has been the same for the last five years, the offense the same for the last five years, the defense the same for the last five years, but the only change is the lack of experience, talent, size, speed, and ability of the team, and a ton of injuries to key players. I saw more crutches and casts on the sidelines which is usually what happens when young players are going up against bigger, stronger, and more experienced players. And while I cannot agree or disagree with your assessment of the weightroom program, I am not sure about the Hill kid being the best tailback in the state. He could be in the future but right now he's not even in the top two or three in the region, and some of the GREAT backs that I've seen are able to break tackles and make holes for themselves which I haven't seen out of the young Hill. And I don't care what offense a team runs whether wing t, wishbone, I, or spread, if the players are young and inexperienced with minimal talent, strength, size, and football IQ, no offense is going to be successful and multiply that with the turnovers, penalties, and dropped passes then you have a recipe for disaster. But I am glad that you can out lift and probably line up on the football field and out hit me because I am just an old man who has seen a ton of Watertown football in my life, but in case you were wondering about my weight lifting regimen, I can get about 250 on a good day as long as my arthritis and other ailments don't kick in (which is about a 100 pounds over what I weigh in case you were wondering). Still was wondering which 130 pound bruiser would be the answer at Fullback knocking open holes for the best back in the state.
  4. I guess big jazzy you have all the answers for Watertowns problem. First get rid of the coach who has a winning record over the last five years, beat tchs 2, gordonsville 2, and won a first round playoff game, beat defending state champ Mercer county out of Kentucky, and sent two players to play college ball(which hasn't been done much from Watertown) and hire who? Bear Bryant from the dead, who said for how many freshmen and sophmores you start thats how many losses you'll get. Secondly, Get under center and run the I so our sophmore running back can get killed would be the all knowing answer and put which 130 pound watertown kid at fullback. And if memory serves me right the same dreaded spread offense that Watertown is running took them boys past the second round for the first time since 85 and for only about the third or fourth time in the history of the school, broke every offensive category in the history of the school, and if Watertown is loaded with all this talent you seem to think they have, then why not put those great athletes in space and win one on one battles. Oh wait, they can't win the one on one battles b/c this great talent is some mirage based upon beating up on the weak sisters of saint mary's middle schools. Thirdly, Doesn't Watertown run a 3-4 defense which is seven in the box oh yea the great 5-2 is still seven in the box. And I would assume this weak offensive line that Watertown has would allow for 5 super strong defensive linemen. Of course, I think Watertown should go to the Wishbone so all that talent could get unleashed on the rest of the region (let the bone roll) but yea you just said the line was weak. What offense can be effective without a strong offensive line? Let me see....NONE. BigJazzy with fans like you I would hate to see Watertowns enemies.
  5. This is not a difficult answer. Has anyone ever seen their teams? They are bigger, faster, stronger, and more talented than any team they line up against. They probably work hard, have tradition, and have coaching, but you don't win state title games by 50 without just having superior talent. The teams I have seen the level of talent, size, speed, and physical maturity was vastly superior to many of their opponents.
