  1. Alright BigJazzy where did your other 18 pts go?
  2. Huh a Private $chool paying somebody off...imagine that!
  3. Dear To whom it may concern: Ok...to avoid being redundant, or stating the obvious, or denying the inevitable...or whatever.... Take it easy on us...H2O wasn't going to be gangbuster's that I know of anyway, but the purple tigers have several key injuries to leaders returning from last year's team. I hear that a playoff berth would be a gift for this year so, take it easy on us so that we can possibly compete with Jack Co. and ooze into the playoffs if at all possible. Thank you, Friends of Watertown Football
  4. But Bruceton always seemed to have a running back whose dad or mom got a job there the summer before their freshman year the week they moved to CARROLL county from florida, or wherever else they got 'em from.
  5. Oh i'm here croz... have been on vaca though... enjoyed reading the torrents over the past few weeks... your game has gotten here...retribution for you blue tigers for the past few years of losses... satiation...enjoy...my hopes is H2O can right the ship within the next two years...don't know if they will ever produce over 7-4 and a first rd playoff trip... Guess that is what some folks hang their hats on...not "eye" said the blind man... Gonna take a more comprehensive approach than what is going on from what i'm hearing...who knows... Good luck to both Tigers...i believe the blue tiger can come out flat as far as offense clicking and still get the best of H2O by out hitting them...just saying!
  6. Thanks for the props! what do you know...guess i have finally read enough! didn't hear from gville...slow to 35? 35 early and called the dogs off...pleased with performance? What does Jco have this year... Heard on the radio Gville mentioned with jo burns and spitt in the tops of the single a state. hope y'all stay the course
  7. croz and woody - crow for breakfast isn't too tasty huh. VERY close game throughout! On the outside it looked to be a #### for tat second, butin retrospect, watertown scored on two offensive drops one score from a skill and one from a big nasty for about 30 yards a piece...very little offense from the purple tigers...kicking game looked good...hit one from 35 had lots more leg, that could come into play down the road...sputtering offense and a decent kicker! Montery pretty much relied on #20 to move the ball...and move the ball he did...difference in the game water did not tackle him in the first half and they did in the second half. Proud of those boys...like isaid all it took..IMHO was a little confidence to get the ball rolling...worldbeaters they're...but for at least the next 7 days they're 2-2...enjoy the victory WTown
  8. Ouch Woody! we shall see...i'll make it down to this one...i say its a bit closer than that...i believe this will test what H2O is trying to do from the defensive side of the ball. wing t done right makes you play assignment football...can't get caught up in all that whoopty doopty... And Croz, chill pill dude...or are you one of those last word having folks? that cool...whatever floats your boat... juvenile, I'm not...i can assure you of that...jsut trying to liven things up.... and for the record...I don't have to like you to agree with you...you make valid points about the outlook for the season...and I'm sure all you blue tigers will be rip roaring on the 15th...i believe you owe WHS for the past two years...this is your year...glad you got friendship wish you got TC...nuff said? Hey make sure y'all got that air horn gassed up for our matchup I'd hate to go home being able to hear. Peace out
  9. ohhhhhhhh you said idiotic.....that's not very nice Dennis I choose H2o in a nailbiter...think all those young kids needed was some faith in themselves...go get em Prognostication for the season...i agree with Dennis...5-5 would be great but also mean they probably aren't in the playoffs. Doesn't detract from the fact that I have never read a G-ville fan with any positive things to say about watertown....last year it was they were all seniors....and we were young...now its....blah blah blah....Dennis...funny name kinda like Turd Fergeson...funny...ha
  10. So thanks for diverting snoball...you and croz must be "friends". Are you one of those that he "works" with? enjoy sissy...hahahaha The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team, is the winningest program in the history of college basketball, both in all-time wins and all-time winning percentage. Kentucky's all-time record currently stands at 2023-638-1 (.760). Kentucky also leads all schools in total NCAA tournament appearances with 50, is second in NCAA tournament wins with 101, and ranks second to UCLA in NCAA championships with 7. In addition to these titles, Kentucky also has won the National Invitation Tournament in both 1946 and 1976. The Wildcats have played in a record 50 NCAA tournaments, in a record 146 NCAA tournament games, have an NCAA record 41 Sweet-16 appearances, and an NCAA record 32 Elite-8 appearances. Further, Kentucky has played in 13 Final Fours (tied for 4th place with Kansas), and has 10 NCAA championship game appearances (tied for second place with Duke), winning 7 NCAA championships (second only to UCLA).
  11. Give a guy a break! I'll be around this year more...most of my posts will be in and around H2O not butting my nose into other threads, but if I had a job like you guys where I could sit around on coacht all day long I'd be a 2000+ poster too! Croz-dodging my request? I would just like to know your references...don't care who you are...cause there are definately some Webster haters the sit in the stands every friday...would hate to know you are basing your pov on a biased fan. let me hear from you, or is anonymity your crutch? its ok we all have them! Grunt...refer to opening paragraph...and go polish your gold balls! Would you like a shmoke und a pancake. You know, a flapjack und a shigarette? No? Shigar und a waffle? No? Pipe und a crepe? No? Bong und a blintz? No? Well, then there ish no pleashing you...I love gooooooold! But...life calls...
  12. Alright...all things considered...just know i say what I say to drudge up some "mindless chatter" albeit cynical, sarcastic and pointed. I'm still an outsider looking in...have some ties to the program through a friend of a friend...Seems like croz you must live on the county line some where to have all that insider knowledge...I would be interested to hear your stories possibly on a PM or email...hey and you can use those words you were talking about and not get in trouble! In conclusion, liked the honesty from the RBS fan quantifying the H2O win...who have they played...touche And croz I came at you like a spider monkey cause I don't take too kindly to folks putting words in my mouth. The word great was never mentioned and you hung your point on me saying watertown was great! So know what your talking about first...i simply rasied the point that watertown, in essence had more of program than RBS to call out all those who picked rbs simply cause they's 2-0 and we's 0-2 (H2O ppl that you work with included)...50-0 nuff said point proven moving on... Back to our describing words I won't use the adjective great and feel the adjective good is a bit much because some of the same "program" issues you bring up...scheme...staff...discipline... all I know is there are some GREAT young men (as there are on many teams) at watertown, and I want to see them succeed in everything they do...football included.
  13. Shoulda known sombody from gordonsville would get on here and put there two cents in when nobody was even talking about them.... IMO a program CAN be defined by wins and losses...Trousdale...Alcoa...Riverdale...just to name a few and THAT IS WHAT MAKES SOME PROGRAMS GREAT. Croz go back an re-read (if that is not too tough on you reading so much in one night) and you'll not find the word GREAT tied to Watertown's program from me. Again IMO a program comes in to "being" with consistency in something, and the longer it's consistent the stronger the argument. Not sure of the long history but I have heard the current coach has been there for 5+ and has built a reputation of a team that Hits hard, plays hard, and plays fast. Is that in stone? probably not-give that a little while longer. Are teams like watertown satisfied with being known for one or two things and finishing the year teetering on .500 shipping out after the first round(maybe second)? One would hope not, and THERE in lies the correct meaning/use of an adjective tied to the word program. So...let me break it down for all you simple-minders (ahem...croz) Is watertown a Great Program? NO...Is watertown a good Program? debateable...Is Watertown...year in and year out...simply a football program that brings with them some expectations to every game? undeniable. That makes them a (adjectiveless)PROGRAM So Croz...don't get on here...jump into my post with your mindless chatter...and talk about stuff you obviously don't have a clue about. Big talk, too, coming from the senior laden blue tigers who on the books should win all their games, H2O included. I might have to drive up and see that one with you though...maybe you could save me a seat and I could explain the game of football to ya while we watch a good one! Happy Trails...till we meet again Oh yeah and Croz I know your wondering...an adjective is a word that describes a noun, and a noun is a person, place, or thing(or idea).
  14. UT Volunteers: Behold your next athletic director...bahhhhaaahhhaahhahahah
  15. Will work on clarifying! Idiot could have been a bit abrasive in hindsight and I'm coming to you from the Great commonwealth of KY so you know how we roll when it comes to shoes! Good luck to you and yours for the remainder... Side note...heard from my peeps that a H2O player suffered a serious lower leg injury...prayers go out...always hate to hear those kind of things regardless of what jersey a kid is wearing.
  16. And still haven't heard a score ...take that back...just got a text...Purple Tigers 50-0
  17. True Trousdale year in and year out has a better team than most (proven by the gold in the case) I wasn't denying that...even gave a shout out...so stinger thanks for stating the obvious... and ole3butt:opened myself up fer a drill-N? huh? is that English...explicame por favor my guess is that because I referred to all those who jumped on the 2-0 still haven't played anybody bandwagon as idiots your feelings got hurt...well if the shoe fits...ha Read between the lines...Idiot=someone who starts their mouth (fingers in this case) before engaging their mind...I'm jsut saying
  18. So is it a convincing number? If so, that is great for the boys from H2O! Maybe they will stop listening to all you idiots who think a programs folds with a big senior class leaving. (see previous prediction posts) And please notice I said PROGRAM! Yeah they haven't competed with the Trousdale's year in and year out, but when you play watertown you know what you're going to get...hard nose fast football! That is the definition of a program. Having some friends with sons on the team, I know second hand that morale had waivered...I say buck up PURPLE Tigers...believe in yourself...and play with heart! Finish Strong...Finish Proud!
  19. I heard he was going to have TJ surgery, which was hard to believe seeing as how he threw a football 70 yds in the air during halftime of the TC game. Any comments on that? He could definately play on the next level in football (haven't seen him pitch, heard he's not shabby) hope he stays healthy and gets a shot!
  20. TC 2-25 FCS 12-95 I'm just kidding, I don't really know, bet I'm close though. Funny how, in their ONLY loss, they "had too many penalties called on them"...still complaining about that one. MAYBE...just MAYBE, they got a crew that for once wasn't in awe of the great Hartsville Hornets, and called a good game. Wonder what a difference there would be if they just called all the holds...nothing else just the holds...wow what a thought! Saw the Mayfield film...the majority of the penalties were holds!
  21. For holding nonetheless...I mean I thought I saw saw some pigs flying there for a little bit
  22. Really? #5 definately stepped over him in a taunting manner, which bad enough in and of itself, then looked behind him and stepped on #2's hand. Judging from #2's reaction, I would say it was on purpose. As for #9, don't think too hard...but you are correct...no penalties...and?...that's probably common on the creekbank. As I said...keep condoning this behavior...you wouldn't want to erradicate the next generation of the TC faithful that ignore celebrating a win the right way (singing alma mater with the players/real fans) so that they can go yell at and hit the opponents as they walk off the field...
  23. To all who care or don't: Just to name a few... #54 loses his composure, on a simple little tackle for a 2 yd loss (#2 did as well...probably justifiable...tough call for the ECO to make) the Ole Head Coach for the loser comandos was the one that started all the drama. (Possumtowner, wonder what schools all those Seniors are zoned for) # 5 walks over FCS QB and steps on his hand...saw this personally, it was obviously on purpose # 9 played hard with injury...kids got guts...and late hits The names you enblazen as the backbone of your programs...not a very good showing IMO Oh yeah they got their stats...for sure...something really to be proud of... I just love the win at all costs mentality from these successful* programs. Man up! Admit there are underhanded things that take place and then go win your championships*! (note the asterik) They as well as any other senior should remember that this is just a game and a stepping stone in life. Take the lessons you have learned from this great game and apply them to your life. Winning a football game is a great joy but its not everything in life. Keep God in your heart and use the qualities you have learned from football and you will succeed in the future. Much respect for the Commanders from BCB~MVP. Great comment, one to hang your hat on!
  24. won't go into public vs private...that's for another post I agree with you, those are the things that need to be said about those kind of kids! I have NO underlying issues! Again an attack on me and not the issues I presented...I can just leave well enough alone and know that I will be witness to a great game with possibly the best athletes in the state. regardless of how they got there. Post to be started: Why Maasen isn't on the Mr. Football short list...wow
