I don't know about tonights games but this is how I think things stand. Greeneville 11 - 0 (I think they defeated Grainger tonight and have a make-up game left with West Greene) South Greene 7 - 3 (I don't know how their games with Claiborne went this week) Grainger 6 - 6 Chuckey Doak 5 - 5 (Don't know about the game with West Greene tonight and they have a make-up game with Claiborne left) Cumberland Gap 5 - 7 West Greene 3 - 7 (Don't know about Chuckey Doak game tonight and they have a make-up with Greeneville) Claiborne 0 - 10 (Don't know about games with South Greene this week) I'm not sure if this is 100% correct so if anyone has a correction please let me know.

I'm not sure if it is true so I don't want to start nameing names or anything. I was hoping someone could confirm or disprove it. It was just something I heard at the game Saturday.

It is my understanding that in a game in the district 2-AA tournament at Chuckey Doak last night there was an official who was working a game in which he had 2 nephews playing. This shouldn't be allowed and even if it is, any respectable ref would ask to be assigned to a different game just to remove any possiblity of the apperance of favortism.

No, the ejection of Johnson wasn't related to the fight but the player from CD that was part of the fight should have been ejected. I have watched the whole thing on video several times and he took the first swing and what he did was every much a punch as what the CG player did. The CG player should not have retaliated but it is very hard to take an intentional forearm/fist to the face and not do something. I guess the one that retaliates always gets in trouble. Both teams did a good job of not letting it turn into a all out brawl. As for Johnson, I don't know what he was so upset about. He clearly stepped on the half court line and it was clearly an over and back. There was only 8 seconds left and he wound up getting ejected.

The CD head coach got a T in the first quarter and then all of the other stuff happened in the last 4 min. of the 4th. It had been building up the whole game though.

There was a fight in the Cumberland Gap and Chucky Doak game last night. Blake Arnold was ejected from CG and Johnson from CD was ejected.

Greeneville, South Greene and Cumberland Gap are at 4 - 1. South Greene hosts Cumberland Gap Tuesday night.

The Gap won the game last night vs. Claiborne.

How about those Claiborne Bulldogs!

Grainger of course will be trying to adjust to life without Skylar McBee but they have some good young players coming back that could surprise some people.
