SF lost, coker was pitching a no-hitter going into the 6th when he gave up two walks and then they started connecting bats on the ball. SF had a chance to tie in the 6th but didnt capatalize, it ended up being 7-2 Richland.

SF Takes on Richland today in what could be a double header. Who ya got?

Are any of the district players invited to the Sign-nee's gm and Non-sign-nee's gm? It's an allstar gm with the best players in single A. It's played at MTCS the day of the STATE championship. From SF- Sam Gairrett & Alex Gardner. (Chris Tyler is an alt.) I think Sam Gairrett "Finally" gets a chance so show his true talent. He's a versatile guy and never really got to move out of post during the season as he wasn't utilized to his full potential. He know's himself if he goes to college he won't be a post. Alex has to be more accurate from the 3 pt line and need better ball handleing. His mid-range jump shot is great, wish he would of looked more to pump fake and take two dribbles and pull up for the easy 2. Good Luck to these guys.

Awesome! I didn't realize that such talented teams as WC and Loretto were also so young. Looks like we're set up for more superior competition down the road. Can't wait Risner seems to be the key to that team from what I've seen in the post-season. If WC is going to be a strong contender other girls are going to have to step it up next year. I think they will though, they have a nice inside gm, and S'town always has a good team. I think both D12-A and D11-A will have some talented teams next year. But GL to S'town and WC in sub-state.

WC by 12. Coach Byrd will have the Lady Wildcats ready to play. I believe any teams coach at this stage will have their team ready to play, it's all a matter of which team executes their game plan the best.

Looks like MTP was the only one to grab a win. Most of the games were close except the perry co. ca gm. Perry co won by 19. Richland gave S'town all they could handle but come up short. Good luck to MTP.

What happened to cornersville? I never saw them getting beat this early... SF won, loretto players weren't very well disciplined and because of that they drew themselves a T cause the coach refused to pull his player after her 5th foul and she didn't want to come out either... But nice win and this may be a confidence booster for the lady cats for their next game. What are some scores from the rest of the games?

SF over Loretto by 6+ The trip to SF and then the anxious student section that awaits them doesn't help much at all. With the great leadership of Dodson, I think she leads the lady cats to a W. But she will need the help of her gaurds and that talented post White. Good luck lady cats Cornersville over Perry Co. by 10+ Nelms is hot right now and if Defenses don't closely watch her this gm could get out of hand early on. Thank you, finally someone speaks the truth. Nelms is an outstanding player, she's netted 26 and 28 against sf but dodson kept this young lady cats in the gm. Their both Mvps to their team, best two players in the district.

Okay from what you say she has almost 2000 points, but from what I also here is that she has no interest after HS to play basketball....So that 2000 has nothing to show for her. I think she is a good player and I never said to not give her the ball, I just corrected you when you said cornersville dominated. She knocked down open shots all night. But don't take away from bobbi, it is an accomplishment when you score 1000 and I want you two to tell me how she is overrated?

First off it's Bobbi* and she IS as good as everybody knows she is. She may not be the dominant scorer, but is a well rounded player when it comes to assists, rebounds, and steals. Cornersville didn't dominate the game sarah nelms did lol 28 points and the closest scorer on the team had 12 then it was 4, 3, 2. SF should have had someone face gaurd her the whole game but that was their mistake. I'm just wondering, did you miss her 1,000 points>?

I'll tell you "Why You'd Better Bother". Loser Has A Road Trip To Perry County. That team will be CA making the trip. I've heard it all year how CA is the best in district 11-A. Well let's see how well they can match up against the best in 12-A. I'd love for CA to go their and win....

CA over Richland by 8+ I'm sure CA is ticked about the buzzer beater and just losing period. I'm sure they don't want to go ahead and play perry co. assuming perry county wins the champ. in their district. I think all the CA gaurds do well in this one. Cully over mtp by 2+ I don't agree slatten is the best coach in the state but maybe the best in district 11-A when it comes to getting his guys focused during the tournaments. Walton and Upshaw needs to have a big gm all around shooting. If thier going to win this gm they need to crash the boards like crazy and drive a lot. Get to the free throw line and knock them down. Keeping your head and boxing out will be important and the key to beating mtp. Good Luck district 11-A!

First off I wanna take a second and congratulate Culleoka on their win. Both teams played hard all game, I don't think there was a second where it wasn't a dull game at all. Walton played great in the 1st half and Big SR James Upshaw come up with some big 3's. To put his team on his shoulder like he did their at the end was huge and shows the mentality of this player. SF's gairrett played a great gm. Not once was he stopped and I wish they would of let him touch the ball every drive down the court. That 4th foul hurt and he sat for some min. But no excuses cully got the job done. And what about both student sections! Man it was just a great atmosphere and they really put on a show. I don't think anybody thought any different. But GL to cully as they play CA. And SF work hard and stay strong, alot of returning players.

Culleoka vs. Santa Fe. Well round 3 and what should be expected a tough matchup. This game has been called a war and reason being if you've been to the last two gms is because of numerous stops of the gm to either clean up blood on the court or somebody changing jerseys because of blood. Very physical gm. I don't expect that to change coming into tonight's gm. Neither one of these teams would want anything more than to walk out with a victory, but only one team must prevail. SF over Cully by 2 in OT Goodluck Fellahs.

HaHa.. Maybe you should stick to talking about other things than basketball.. You come up with some off the wall predictions.. Richland will not lose to Cornersville at Richland.. Not to mention you didnt even predict Santa Fe and Cully. I'd say that is because you are afraid Santa Fe baseball is about to start Wed... So I give one upset prediction and you think thats horrible or is it because I picked an underdog to beat your team?? Oh and I did mention the two teams but was going to see what discussion on these two teams were because this gm will be the best 1st round gm because of the 1st two previous matchups. Some kids if they were to get on here might take it personal when you say "children of 11A"...Their young men, and some who will get to continue to call their selves a "basketball player" as they continue onto college. You don't see a difference in a college athlete on a scholarship who is over 18 and a FRESHMAN in high school? Not really. If the player doesn't do something silly as to whatever he did to bring attention to him like this then nobody would bring it up. If anything this could be a lesson taught. You seem to know a lot about this situation, and you like to keep bringing it up. Just drop it. The kid made a mistake and now its time to move forward whether he gets in trouble or not.

They've come on strong at the right time of the season. If they can continue this good play then I give them the "W" over Richland. MTP over Hamshire by 15+ MTP comes in this game after a tough regular season loss to a good CA team. MTP doesn't look back as their athleticism dominates hampshire throughout the gm.
